Man I still can't believe the PS4 is going to cost BR 3,999 in Brazil (aproximately 1800 USD). There's no way you can justify that price by import taxes and shipping alone, if you take into account that the XBONE is going to cost almost half of that price in BRL. That price is almost double of what I made monthly a few years ago.
There's something deeply wrong with how Sony treats Brazilian customers, even though they are one of the largest consumers of Playstations (most of them smuggled from Paraguay where the taxes are a lot cheaper). I guess Sony just doesn't care, since they are making money anyway whether you buy it in Brazil or Paraguay...
Hell, it's cheaper to book a flight to Miami, buy a PS4 there and pay all the import taxes than it is to buy one at an official store o___O
