Looks good insta. Add some overlays to the floor on the first pic are cuz it looks pretty empty and repetitive atm.

Ferret: I was gonna use that on a scene so the shadows were needed. But I agree that I overdone them in some parts.

Farles: Those look pretty cool. Some soft shading would give them a nice touch!

Yeah I know that a portfolio > education but I really want to go to the college, I'm not sure if I wanna work on games all my life so if I go for a industrial design degree I can work on either games, visual creation, TV, and maybe even special effects for movies. Also, you can't get a work visa without a degree (except motherfucking lucky kleinluka).

I dunno, I couldn't get used to it. The vertex editing tool was a pain to use and I just can't work on the 4 windows style. The single window option was also a pain to use, it's a lot easier with Hammer.

Hold a chair for me next to you till I feel competent enough to apply klein

gotta remember that "product placements" or whatever you call it, actually (in a weird way) also adds to realism...What city wouldnt have giant posters with commercial in it?
I agree but they should have used fictional products instead of shoving microsoft shit down your throat.
And no, I haven't seen it yet. Will download the DVDrip as soon as it's out

Sweden + education + economy = ownage. Everything is more or less free. Education in sweden is free, you need to pay for housing and material such as book and pencils.
We have free colleges as well, but since the government doesn't give a shit teachers are always on strike. There isnt much investment.
QuoteThe so called 'next' button isn't too easy to see. And the popups are small until the image is loaded in Opera. Other than that great site & great work!
Yeah I tried to make it like the grey buttons but I couldnt make it to look right on both IE and firefox

Man I FUCKING hate this country. And I mean that. It isn't very common here to get into a college through your portfolio (unless it's an arts specific college), they always want you to study useless stuff to succeed in some crappy exams. Ok, I emailed the coordinator of the course I want telling her that I can't afford a course like that (it's REALLY expensive) but I ain't poor enough to try one of their financial support for poor people (you have to be really poor to get one of those). Wrote a fucking huge email explaining my situation and stuff and then she replies me: "Thiago, you should go talk with the secretary. Yours sincerely, Nara"
/me dies in pain

Looks awesome at least.

Fucking hate that editor.

Wow that's a lot of content

One suggestion: Some colors like this would be cool http://www.superzap.com/biblioteca/quim ... iodica.gif (Just some desatured colors would do the job imo).
oh I love this one http://www.marquepierre.com/images/cartoon.jpg

I think it wouldn't hurt if the screenshots of your levels were a little bit more high res, other than that it looks pretty cool tho, i like the living room scene! Good luck buddy!
Yeah, I think you talking specifically about dm_fetid. I dont have it compiled right now and couldn't find good pics of it
QuoteLooks great Minotauro. Why the Portuguese titles? Are there really that many games companies in Brazil? Switch to all English I say...
QuoteIt's in portuguese only cuz I'm trying to get into some college for free (can't afford these expensive colleges in Brazil!).
QuoteProbably because those links are plain text links, while the menu links are block outlined. Doing the same for those buttons would do it good, I think.
Good idea man
QuoteCould see you've taken some from Philip but I guess thats alright
I used the popup javascript only, the rest I did by myself (its simple but took a lot of time to get it to work on both IE and Firefox)
