I think this one is one of the photos Ive seen in most games.

I think it's been in CS, CoD, MOHAA, dod and some others i cant remember and about every mod for HL1

Sorry couldn't find a larger pic:

  • what are you currently listening to?

The Digital Blonde's new album Synthology.

Extremly good and massive. Can't stop listening.

Would def recoomend to anyone who once loved massive and psychadelic trance and wants to be reborn to the genre

It's only released digitally tho since it's over 90 min :\

Ah this one looks really fun, and it looks very good too.

My only complainment would probably be the very 90 degreeish road turns.

I know if you don't have a turned texture it might be hard but it would really look better if it was more rounded.

    thx again.

Nys, the layout of that tex is very cool and I like the details.

Althought it is very greyscalish now. Would be nice with some hints of colors at least.

And I think the large metal part in the back looks quite stretched atm.

But it's a wip so understandable

I'd put some more attention to the edges of the details. Perhaps put some grime there and possibly like "edge damage" like metal often get after a while on sharp edges.

Ah thx, that'd be great if you could KFS

    Btw. Great idea with decals.

I wanted to add some to the textures themselves but would make them so much less generic. I suppose setting up decals to Q4 wouldn't be that different from HL2

Yeah I read that too but it sure didn't fix it for me at least.

Can't visit their games section at the steam site at all and all I get on steam itself whichever "page" I try to view is "Page was not found blabla".

this map is comming along greatly

its really nice that youve spent so much time on the environment outside the actual playing area.

An awesome piece of art as usual from you

Can't wait to see what you will cook up with the tidal wave idea and such.

That's quite an improvement since last pics

Perhaps it's a bit too tight right now. Maybe try to go a bit more sparse on the leaves. It all depends on what style you're going for.

    I dig the trunk anyway.

As i said before, the normal here doesnt really represent the geometry the texture was intended to have... but atleast it looks better than just running the texture through that filter like what is mostly done.It would still look 100x better if this texture's normal map was done in a modelling tool though
