They still look cool. Obviously a lot wouldn't work today but none the less makes me wanna play around with HL1 again

Yeh really well deserved peri!
I know you'll be a great addition to their team -
Damn, looks neat! Will check this out for sure

-
sweet! Would be fun to try this out with some people

-
damn the new lighting in the sub-room looks great!
-
damn thats some nice terrain

-
Odd...
I don't know where they get their light info from. Would it make any difference to place any light info entities around?
Read some on the wiki but couldn't find anything useful about how they are lit

Damn that looks nice! Love the custom assets.
One thing I usually think looks good tho is to darken the corners slightly on illuminated signs like that. It makes them blend more to the environment and gives them a feeling they are lit up from behind. Just adding a slight multiply layer on the illumination textures. Just edited your pics a very quickly to show what I mean. Doesn't look very good in those of course but oh well

I think the backdrop really kills an otherwise nice looking map here. There's just way too many similar shapes and heights going on there. Imo it'd be so much better just removing some of the chimneys and try to add some larger silos, more industrial rectangular buildings and maybe one or two really unique ones.
I think there's a lot of cool stuff in this picture:

You've probably heard it before but your stuff is incredibly inspiring. Absolutely lovely stuff there Warby

I like it, easy to overview. Only thing (I know it's very standard tho) is it'd be nice to have your name or something at the top. Or at least in the title of the site.
Your work looks great and it's good that you've written what your responsibilities were underneath the pictures.

Solid portfolio, easy to overview. But I don't think it was obvious at all that the names were download links. So it'd probably be a good idea to state that somewhere.

Looks fantastic! This is one of few maps I've seen using some standard HL2 content where it's really hard to see that it does. Everything goes really well together.
I will try and run through this when I get some time. But it sure looks really interesting, especially considering it's a "dust setting" but still managed to get it look so different.
Do you have an overview screen of the level?
-
Looks great Jocke! The textures fit really well together and I love the lighting.

Congrats KFS
!I'm on UWE now till October tho.
And they got some damn talented people there.
-
Looks great Mino! Love that you have some color in there

Also, totally agree with the Epic comment. I can't stand to look at a level in UT3... All that strange blur, over the top bloom in random spots, SUPER busy textures, often badly smoothed meshes... Ok that's enough...
Anyway, hope to see you eventually make a scene or level out of this!

Really solid work there, I like the videos with your comments. A really good way to present your levels! Good stuff
