I dunno, I thought it looked very similar to the old one. At first I didn't find the marketplace etc either until I noticed I wasn't signed in ![]()

I really like both
This should be sweet! -
Glad you weren't affected Mazy.
Really sucks with all the layoffs going on recently

Awesome Pogo!

You've used vcolors really well there. You could even add a subtle gradient from darker at the bottom of the buildings to get some further depth. Large gradients are always interesting (almost)

Anyway, great use of texture space.

god damn, the last screen is awesome! I like that you added some more flat floors to break up the lines a bit. Looks really good now anyhow.

Congrats! Great work on this one

I'm sorry I'm a bit out of the loop here, but will the map now be available officially? Also, there are two winners apparently, so I think that's what made me a bit confused... Would they then have both levels in

Nice clean site

You should post that on game-artist as well Teddy

-
Holy shit, if I had half of the energy you have

Anyway I'm glad you guys are getting this out, been a lot of effort put down on it

-
I will buy for sure! Congrats on getting this out, hope you can get some well deserved rest now

Might as well post a new example I made for the tutorial here as well.
Added another example .PSD to the tutorial. Just a photo based one this time where I used hand masking a bit together with my nDo-generated normals (strangely the .PSD is ver large in filesize. I had originally planned to release it in it's full res (1024x1024) but then it'd be around 200MB...)

It's great for sure! I've been using it nearly daily the for months!

Damn, very sorry to hear that Mino

You'll catch another job in no time for sure!

Looks great! Love the outdoor lighting and colors

Good luck with this!

Looks nice, especially considering the time it took to create.
As you said yourself the thing standing out the most are the insides. Would you be able to use vertex-coloring you could paint all the corners darker and experiment with just a big simple gradient on the interiors, I think you'd gain a lot doing that. Also with a sky like that I'd use a bit more blue in the ambient lighting.
Great job tho, seems like you focused on the right things.

Read some about this on TCE. Really sad indeed, you're always amazed by the stuff people do when they should be driving

-
Sounds like this could be pretty useful if you wanna make some templates. Especially if you are to kind of batch create certain stuff.
I'll try it out asap, cool stuff

Yes! This looks awesome mino! Love the style

-
Thanks!
Brought this up again just to say I made another one now .This time it's on some rough wood (using Zbrush some) and I think it will be a bit of a useful read if you want to go with some more stylized handpainted stuff as well (split up the tutorial a bit so some parts I go into some on handpainting details in PS).
All that is included in the .PSD at the bottom of the tutorial as well.
