the added contrast in the metal beams is good, but the details look to bluury and painterly compared to the resolution of the rest of the texture. I would try getting some hard edges in there.

looks pwn posteh. The shadows could be alittle darker mebbe, but it's a small thing. I wish I had some free time to do some more : /

the whole thing looks too sharp to me. Just becuase you want it too look sharp does not mean that every pixel has to be a radically different value than the pixel next to it. It looks pixelized even though it's high rez. Also, I think the stain would look better if it just darkened the texture beneath it, instead of being black.

I think the detail texture on the house looks strage becuase it covers both the ivy and the stucco/stone

you guys need to rely more on photo sources for distressing your textures, and not use photoshop filters. The computer monitor is cool

    another case of the sharpies

also, it should be 4x bigger, not 2x bigger.

I've already had to change a buttload of stuff for legal reasons, this one is pretty safe though. Unless there is actually a rum.core somewhere.

by the way, in case any of these are actually gonna get used, the texture scale is 4x, so a 128 x 128 hl1 texture would be a 512x512 hl2 texture. Also, only powers of 2 textures are valid.

that aint too bad at all. Maybe some darker dirtyness to add some more contrast, but it's still way better then the original. good job

thats kind of a crappy tex to pick though in terms of real usablity, the original probably has now shadowing becuase it's going to wrap around a pipe. I'm not sure how practical these are meant to be though.

    Quote from Minotauro

looks very cool zappy, but the this blue metal looks sorta very sharpening, dunno how to explain but looks a bit weird.

hmm . . well it is sharp.. thats the difference with having them high rez maybe you mean the metal is a little too busy with how distressed it is, I could agree with you there a little.

    ol wins hands down
