So it's really the Mojo Audioscribbler list seeing as he has 6 months worth of data and we've got 1 day's worth.

all that music is all that I have listened to at work, give or a take a bit that I listened to at home.

Is there a lot of swimming?

Jynx, or Dread - I can't remember since it was rather late and I was exhausted, was complaining about this game last night saying all you did was swimming and you couldn't exit unless you were sitting down, which you can't do in the water I imagine.

Gameplay-wise, there's way to many barrels that you "bounce" off of in that sniper hallway. It was very annoying.

this is what a lot of people need to remember when making Source maps. Phsyics may be fun as hell, but its damn annoying when your path is blocked. Now on the other hand when you are blocking the Ts path, giving you the upper edge it is a different story.

I enjoy prodigy pretty much and had a great game on my first at go on it. 7 kills with my trusty deagle in the first round (even though it was already about 7 rounds into the map)

Now I have something to shoot for with militia.

I studied American Studies (History and Culture and the like) during my stay at college and I now work in game design. All through out college I took classes that worked with my major and nothing that really dealt with game design. I took Intro to C++ but that was just not cup of tea and I dropped out of that class (on the last day of class since I had skipped every class since the midterm). But after that I only studied history and really enjoyed it.

During college as well though I constantly mapped. I actually started mapping when first started college. Less than 1 year after I graduated I started in the Game Industry. Basically it doesn't matter whether you get a degree in game design or not. If you know good flow and game design by designing levels yourself, you will have learned more than what they teach you at these "colleges."

so basically just write why you like art, what you did to get into art, what do you find enjoyable, that sort of thing. Its basically a point of view essay so what ever we post/suggest wouldn't be your words/ideas.

what areas are you struggling in? By answering that and maybe what you are writting about, we could give you ideas on you might not have covered or an area you should approach

I was browsing the bbcnews site when I came across this article:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/tyne/4019523.stm

Now I have no bloody clue what the hell is going on in this article. The only thing I get is that a punter, british slang for Gambler, died or some such nonsense. Beyond that I don't understand what the hell was being bet on or if it was some sort of reality TV show or something.

Please keep to serious discussion, any "omg pip pip cherrio righto indeed, is it tea time yet? quite it is" will not be tolerated.

I enjoyed this game when I was in the closed beta, but had to give it up a few months ago knowing full well that a lot of other kick ass games were going to come out. I didn't want to miss these games adn was sort of getting bored with WoW, even though it was rather fun.
