    Terrorists can be anybody. They can be Canadian, Chinese, Portuguese, French, Arabian, Russian. It doesn't matter. As long as someone is using the tactics of fear as a political weapon, they can be called a terrorist.

    ok I was up til 9am, so I had been up for 23 hours when I was writing that responce and just wanted to sleep. Yeah I know the G8 is actually in Scotland and not in London, but it is the same island so I am technically correct. But then by that regard, you could say that the G8 were in town if they were in LA and something bad happened in New York.

    Even if they aren't Osama Binladen, but are the IRA or some Liberian rebels or Chinese Exetreme Party, by using terror as a weapon, in this case the bombings, then they are terrorists. Explosions like this just don't happen on their own, especially 5 in a small area within an hour. Now I am not saying they should go bomb Iran or anything since 'Terr'rists" are at work. It seems what is happenign is quite the contrary and an investigation is going, unless maybe some group takes responsibility

    very interesting that I had some feeling I should check the news and was greeted with 80point font of Explosions in london.

    Going to have to agree here with Reno, 4-5 explosions within a short period time isn't natural. Now who did it is a different story, especially with the G8 in the town.

  • I'd like to see Mapcore grow.

    Makes me smile to see all the awesome comments about Mapcore. I think Zap is right that it is probably wiser to have it grow slowly and not to force it.

    Hopefully I can get some free time in the near future so I can focus some more effort at completing maps and getting mapcore working.

    I think the rate at which Mapcore is expanding is pretty good. We don't want to get too big that we lose that close sense of community. But new blood is always good.

  • Batman Begins

    As usual movie threads, avoid spoilers (lol Bruce Wayne is Batman lol) :roll:

    Simply Awesome. Better than the last two (but that really isn't a challenge is it?) and I would say better than the first two. Characters, character development and so far are just well done.

    And for those that think that new batmobile looks stupid (It doesn't look like the real batmobile, blah blah blah) you have to remember this his how batman started. He is finding his way into Becoming Batman, so he still shall refine his image, etc. Bah enough of the standing up for the batmobile, the movie was awesome.
