nice. I am so glad to see Mapcorians becoming industry professionals, such a good feeling. Amazing that Mapcore only a few years ago had a small small percentage of industry folks. Though as we have grown in members and industry people I am sure the ratio is the same.

    Either way congrats Insta again.

The conservatory is actually part of the Minnesota Como Zoo in St. Paul, MN. It's a little far from the IDS tower and the Metrodome to include those in the pictures though.

Its only a short jaunt down 35, maybe if you can, get some shots across the washington bridge at the U. Hmm maybe I should do that when I come up this winter.

I am agreeing with Fletch 100% on this. I used winamp for the longest time and thought itunes was "stupid" just because I was afraid of change. But as I began to use Itunes more and more, the more I loved it. Have all your mp3s in a library (I have a really massive collection) and being able to find certain songs without having to dig through layer upon layer of folders is really great.

I use EAC to rip my CDs, mainly since I like the quality it yields and haven't had a problem with it in many years.

also, i don't really 'get' itunes. it's not all that useful to me; i'm not sure why.

I wasn't really a fan of it, but since I got an ipod and am an mp3 whore/elitist I like how it can keep track of what I listened to, how much, how recently, and album art (which grew on me).

we have been playing this at work. So damn fun. I played it back when it first came out but it was only at LAN parties. Now we get 7v7 games and its a lot of fun when you can finally get a bohemoth and just take out the entire enemy base and get 4 levels in a single run.

I recently went to Kalamazoo for a friends wedding and of course had to fly. Bored I busted out my camera and decided to snap a few pictures. Flying out of Chicago was cool, I just wish I could have had my camera on for more of the lower-to-the-ground-thru-the-clouds action.

the plane actually crashed in the early morning, while the emmys were on at what 7-8pm? about 12 hours later. So it wasn't as if the even had just happened minutes or a few hours before hand

I know that the news overrate things but it said Conan had some critisism over in US (like he had power over the show) so I just wonder if it's true?

There was criticism, but it was as big as the Janet Jackson Super Bowl spectacle 3 years ago. Conan wasn't the director of the show, just the host, so any blame should really be directed to the director of the show and not Conan.

    Quote from Fletch

I understand why some people would be offended. It's a 50/50 call on whether they should have changed it. It's not as though you've got the time to reshoot the opening, but they could have started it with Conan walking out of the water and still achieved the joke. It's a tough call. They probably should have at least given the heads up to the affiliates in Kentucky so they could run commercials over it or something.

Agree, the clip was about a show adn not filmed that day due to the plane crash since they thought it would be funny. They could have maybe editted it, but it was more a judgement call on the producer and director's part, and probably some network execs as well.
