a great powersupply should be the #1 item on your new computer list. i dont see how you can squabble over the power consumption. I learned this first hand a couple weeks ago running a 450 watt on a 9700 pro, 1 hd, and some other various, when it blew up on me.
i never could get into stargate....or sci fi for that matter
its like the genre enjoy's being nerdy
(plus for some reason i think the CG in stargate and the like look so fake....and obvious CG turns me off instantly)
BOYCOTT!
i thought that the topic tried to spell strategic horribly, horribly wrong.

i was sitting on the couch this morning watching lotr:tt and all of a sudden i had an awesome flashback. i remember this game from when i like FIRST started using computers. it was where all you saw was your side of the trenches in a battle and then on the other side enemies popping up every now and then and stuff. you could throw grenades over to the other side or something....i really dont remember. one thing that stands out in my mind is that you could buy or have mercenaries with dynamite strapped to their bodies and send them to the other side. it was VERY low quality, but extremely fun...im almost positive it was freeware and that alot of people played it.
it has to be from the late 90's because i remember i still had AOL then.
3ds max will be the death of me
did the mapcore people used to put like [mapcore] in front of their names on irc or something like that
now THATS cool
have so heard of it....
mapping is fine for some.....but for those who need more choices
but its THE game!
i reluctantly conform and relent
im a pretty big ATI enthusiast and if it were me id go with the x800 just because my 9700 pro served me well....but....ive read a few reviews and most of them either say its A. too close to call or B. the 6800U is winnar
i would seriously wait till after d3 comes out though, just to see what the deal as far as benchmarks go. im sure both cards again will run it well, but you never know what the near future holds. (especially with the reintroduction of SLI from nvidia and what not)
*edit in case you didnt know, i heard that PCI express has almost like zero performance gain over the 8x agp cards (currently).....in case that in any way influences your purchase
tsk tsk, ferret teh meanie
does it render the colors like that depending on POV or did you color it like that?
i think it looks nice ol but i thought the point of the little wings was so it could be more AERODYNAMIC. as in the OPPOSITE of being flat blunt objects jutting out of the side.
