hmm well i think it looks pretty spiffy, but not too manyplaces to add super detail so its kinda lowpoly. the rocket im not sure about, i slapped fins on there but they look kinda weird

carmack has some super advanced buttons on his keyboard, the must be using some awesome per pixel shaders or something!
i think he might have made the overlay later unless hes extreme new-school
