i bet you have an nvidia card and you didnt install the included drivers
or youre running AA from your drivers because that makes the text mess up

tends to slow down with the big artillery explosions n stuff, i wish i could put the res at 1280x1024 but game sucks
(also have anisotropic on in driver settings)
