This could be a cool opportunity for people who don't have the cash to have their own booth at E3!

Well, I guess a career in level-design is still an option?

I'm not a 3D artist or animator, but I would assume this is not too shabby for the 1st semester. It would be interesting to hear the objectives and requirements of this assignment/project!

This is how you create a trailer - you show expensive cars, tits and the destruction of the Eiffel tower within the first 10 seconds!
I'm sold!

That is correct, you had Flammkuchen

I got confused with what Starbreeze actually develops/has developed just recently. I was under the impression that they developed Riddick: Escape from butcher bay, but somehow it's also listed on the website of "Tigon Studios" who develop even more Vin Diesel games?! So which one is Diesel's studio - Tigon or Starbreeze or both? And who is developing? I'm confused

Speaking of Halo Wars I just got early demo access so I can do a preview for an Xbox fan site I write for.

Just started a topic about it, find it here

Any discussion on the Halo RTS game goes here. Anyone here with a beta key who would like to share his impressions?

The 3dbuzz videos are pretty good and starts out with some very basic stuff, so you can easily watch them even with no prior Unreal or ld experience. For further resources we used to have a thread with lots of nice links in it, but I can't find it atm.
This one?
