Oh boy, can't wait for "Grenade of Grenade: Modern Grenade 2". Seriously, CoD4 multiplayer gets boring lightningfast due to the IMMENSE grenade spam. People just toss all their grenades once they spawn, use the rifle grenades asap, and once depleted; start firing in random directions, die quickly, and repeat the whole process. Now top this of with Martyrdom, and extra grenades perk. It's rare to NOT find a grenade indicator on your screen at any given time. Ok so I'm exaggerating, but that's pretty much how it is.I really really REALLY hope that has been addressed for CoD:MW2.
I don't mind the grenade tossing at level starts so much, it only works on certain maps and you can just wait a little to avoid it. The Martyrdom perk can be VERY annoying though, because it takes no skill.
I got over my CoD4 Multiplayer addiction pretty much exactly one year ago and now you show me this?

I was looking forward to this and finally had a chance to check it out! Nice work, here are my comments:
I think you did a good job letting the level explain the gameplay, not that it was very complicated, but all the signs, visual and audial cues made me figure out what to do relatively fast. The first time I had to move a crate in a higher row, using a ladder made me struggle and a tad annoyed. That's when I noticed that each time I mess up, the surroundings change appearance/take damage. Not too long after that I figured out from the little scenes in between that moving the crates to the destination ("repressing") was not the goal. Failing was. I thought that was cool, but as you said, a little more gameplay couldn't have hurt! The setting itself and the "story" is quite unusual and original, I liked that. The whole thing reminded me of the nightmare level in Max Payne, kinda trippy. Nice attention to detail overall and some pretty cool ideas in those scenes! I think this could be a good example of teaching a message by playing a game!

Bump - just another juicy detail that came out of the still ongoing legal battle between Take 2 and 3D Realms: Remember that mysterious "Duke Begins" title, which is supposedly in development by an external, well-known developer? Apparently that was/is Gearbox!
haha oh my god I can't believe they put working night vision goggles in the box! This is going to cost a fortune for running around at night with COD branded nvg or having them sit in your room for display, either way it is not going to work for your sex life!
