What do you guys think of a small gallery of the latest, best art (levels, textures, wallpapers...) posted in these forums, above the forum index. It would encourage people to post pics, support a growing community and make the forums appear lively and fresh. This idea isn't coming out of nowhere, people who visit CGTalk know what I'm talking about. If somebody is capable and willing to add such a feature and no admin or moderator wants to update it regularly, I would volounteer for doing it.

Your texture is looking superb, except for the top border (which you already mentioned). It looks somewhat metallic and truly doesn't fit.

People/Writers like these are generally very similar to our parents, concerning opinions about video games at least. They didn't grow up with videogames and rather believe mature, same-aged persons writing ridiculous articles in newspapers who have no clue about the games as well, than their kids or in general younger persons who are familiar with the material.
Don't get me wrong, I do believe that there is a point in not giving gore, brutal games to 10 year olds, but this "I need to write an article, I'll bash another videogame for an entertainment device the majority of my readers hasn't even ever touched in their whole lives should do it and can write what the hell ever I want to since everybody knows that videogames are produced by satan himself anyway" is just upsetting.
