The stuff with sentries and bots look quite cool, but the vehicle handling and combat looks pretty rough to me. Definitely gonna play it, but I don't get why people are especially excited by it based on what's been shown so far.

There's rumours on the internets that it was actually an inside job, related to them axing a huge part of Sony Online's staff or something.
That would actually make Sony look a bit better in my opinion. Still shitty, but better.

Mazy hacked my brain and stole the idea to post this before I could get to it. I contacted the FBI to see if I have a case in going after Mazy for theft, but they said "He posted that hours before you did. Get better internet skills, a**hole."
I stole your megahurtz, deal with it!

It is interesting that they claim that this is part of the same attack that happened two weeks back. I mean you can't really spin this in a positive way, but if it had been a new attack they would've looked bad since they didn't grasp how unsecure some of their stuff online still is, but being that it was part of the first attack, then it just looks like they have no idea what's going on. Neither paint them in a good light.

Hmmm, guess they should've kept their mouth shut about being all safe n' shit.

Crazy that it's been down for this long, really a major issue for them considering that the entire online community is just non-existent on the PS3 right now. Only way it could be worse is if you had to pay for it ala XBL, then they'd really have an ugly mess in their hands.

[Blocked Image: http://www.thetvaddict.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/game_of_thrones_poster.jpg]Really good show so far!
First episode was a bit heavy on the exposition, even for a pilot, but I'm really liking it, especially episode 2. Really love that TV series can have such high production values these days, plus the time to actually tell stories well. Can't wait for each Mondays now (since it wont be up until then here).

I will admit that I'm also somewhat puzzled as to why you'd leave, even as the huge juggernaut company that Blizzard is today then it's also one of the most prestigious companies in the business. But I definitely wish you the best of luck at your new gig, might actually get NS2 done for a change

Damn, so much good stuff here, what the hell is wrong with you guys?!?

BTW Warby, if you got stuff from the KL2 levels in question then I'd say post it, doubt anybody would get riled up about you posting some early stuff from it. Got a couple of layouts from some early KL2 levels somewhere, no mockups but it might still be funny to see.

Finished it a few days ago. This was one of those rare games that I feel bummed out when I finish because I liked it so much. Any one tried the co-op without a mic? Also, if any one wants to play with me (no mic):
I'm playing it with a buddy without a mic, and it works surprisingly well so far. The pointing and countdown features are vital to letting the other player know what you're thinking without typing it out, plus being able to see what the other player is seeing often makes it easier to get what they're hinting at if they're at different point of view. Would still be better with a mic tho, especially since we had a lot of funny moments where we fucked up when we played that would have been even better if we could hear the other person

Is there honestly anyone on these boards that hasn't finished the game already?

Anyway,
Quotetotally love the goo effects, are ossims!
Played through 3 chapters of the co-op, absolutely loving it. Brilliant level design, and much like the campaign then there were a few bits where we had to stop up to think things through, but the ball usually got rolling fast enough that it didn't get frustrating.
QuoteEnd of chapter 3 where you had to jump against each other to stop at the right time was genius!

Just finished it, what a truly amazing game. I feel like a fool for doubting whether Valve could make a full length Portal game work, but with all the additions they add to spice things up then it just works like a charm. Some crazy good level design that often made me stop up and think things through, but I'd always figure out the solution before it got frustrating, excellently paced through the entire thing. Also pretty impressive how well the Source engine looks in this, found myself staring at plants and at the muddy water once in a while

Now, co-op time!

Saw 127 Hours. Most people I've talked to that has seen have been quite down on it, but I thought it was pretty fantastic. Making an exciting movie where you know the outcome from the beginning isn't easy, but it actually also manages to have an character arc which was really well realized. Really touching movie as well, never really been a fan of James Franco but in this he was pretty damn good. Really fucking brutal as well, but that goes without saying. Glad I saw it.

Very goo. Now please start showing the multiplayer!
