Is it just me or is it pretty much always laggy on Teheran Highway? I've had lag on a couple of servers while playing tonight, but consistently lag on that map. People were also noting it in the chat on 2 different servers, hmmm.

Definitely for this generation, you guys really think they would make the kind of investment that a GTA game takes these days on a completely fresh console? If anything then GTA V will be even more ambitious than IV, and that supposedly had a budget at over 100 million dollars. Maybe if Sony or Microsoft funded a huge chunk of it.
Regardless then there's a point in them announcing it now, everything points toward that its gonna come out next year. Hell who knows, might even come out at the usual Rockstar slot around April/May.

I'm getting the PC version (though also a 360 copy for when I'm not home), but this is slightly concerning. Guess hitting those submission dates to get out before MW3 combined with the beta feedback is quite a load of work. Hope it turns out well, I want this game to do well~
Also, European launch is on the 28th...I AM DISAPPOINT.

Hell, the recommended specs is a lie in most cases as well. That said, was pleasantly surprised at how well the beta ran on my machine.
BTW, think preloading is kinda broken right now, started it three times and keeps bugging out at about 3GB :G

Played it some more and I've started finding stuff I really don't like. They've simplified the entire resource system so now you have wood, ore and crystals. All the old resources like gems, sulfur and mercury are gone, and it just feels so empty compared to the old Heroes games. Also the so far then it doesnt seem like you can have castles/towns of various races, but instead have them converted into your own type. It's still fun, but I kinda miss all the old stuff :G
