    Quote from Chimeray

After seeing Prometheus I'm pretty confident the sequel to Blade Runner will have the same quality as the original It depends on what you're looking for I suppose. Blade Runner now is nothing special, all the things I saw in that movie were done better elsewhere. To me it doesn't matter that most of those were probably influenced by Blade Runner. Guess I should've seen it back in the day (saw it a couple of months ago)... I did, however, acknowledge that back in the day it must've been sensational.

If you're looking for an inspirational successor, leaps ahead like the original was (back then). Then I don't think this sequel will be like that at all... It won't set any standards.

So in essence it depends on what you're expecting... The kind of quality of what Blade Runner is now... or was.

Does that make sense? So yeah, for me it doesn't really matter that much. I feel like this movie will deliver the same lackluster experience like Blade Runner (now) and Prometheus, definitely not expecting it to have the same impact as it did decades back.

Wow. I'm just happy that I saw Blade Runner back when I was young, naive and full of wonder and amazement, which was still more than 10 years after it's release. Can't imagine what my taste in a lot of things would be like without having a deeply nostalgic relationship with Blade Runner. I kinda get what you're saying tho, people do get overly attached to things and sometimes get blinded easily from what they are by nostalgia, and honestly then Blade Runner isn't an especially great story, but rather an amazingly well realized vision of the future that has a nice simple theme and message.

With that said tho, can't believe that you're not impressed by today even.

Anyway, like I did with Prometheus I'll really try and keep an open mind, but I really hope he goes with a more minimalistic plot and story, and focuses primarily on creating a gorgeous movie. That's at least what I feel like after Prometheus.

Aye, one of my favorite games of the last couple of years, shits tight, love the new additions. Only problem is that it's unoptimized like hell, and having more than 5 civs on a decent sized map will just cripple the turns in the late game to the point of being unplayable.

Finally some ingame stuff. I'll love it if it's in fact this ammo starved and desperate in the actual game. That's something that's always missing in most of these post apocalyptic/zombie shooters. Good stuff, fucking brutal tho~~

Damn, sure it's heavily scripted (but then, most demos are at E3), but I really like the vibe and style from this. It feels a bit fresh for once.

Haven't read what you fellas have said, but I really liked it. There were definitely things I didn't like about it

(The end, the religious themes and in part the story with human life being engineered by the alien human dudes...well, most of the story stuff TBH

). But as a whole I had a great time with it, the entire style and look of the movie alone is worth the price of admission in my book. And yeah, it might be derivative of Alien in a lot of ways, but I actually think it brought enough new stuff to the table to warrant it's existence (speaking of table, the operating table scene was fucking amazing!).

Anyway, way better than what I expected (even if I just expected a visual feast), though definitely not perfect. An absolute must watch if you like sci-fi~

Reminds me that I really ought to finish Amnesia. Love that game, but it is the kind of thing where you need to be in a specific mood to play it.

This looks great, but I'm interested in seeing how they'd extend it to fill an entire game, even if it's of a smaller size.

Finished it on Normal difficulty, only to realize that you actually only unlock the new difficulty with the character you played through with. Was hoping I could start a new character on the harder difficulty

Anyway, way too easy, especially Act I, but from Act II and onward I really enjoyed it, looks absolutely fantastic. Gonna start a new character and play exclusively in co-op, probably a Hardcore character if I can convince others to do it
