Hmmm when I try to use the Workshop Item Publisher in the CS:GO SDK I just get a small black box instead of the item publisher window, which idles there doing nothing. Anyone know a fix for this? Or a way of publishing items outside of the CS:GO SDK?

Hah! The last few weeks I've actually been thinking of doing a CS:GO map with this exact same theme (since most people must be sick and tired of european villages at this point, and what'll feel fresh?
), still to this day it feels like a really underused location in games in general. I think the layout looks pretty good as a starting point, gonna be interesting to see this develop (now that you've totally dissuaded me from doing one

Yeah. I donno, I'm definitely still looking forward to it, but it's kinda sad that since their E3 reveal my hype has just steadily gone down each time they've shown anything from it.

Well, LeMarchand was a while back, donno about Jacob Minkoff tho, from the IGN article then it kinda sounds like a lot of the Last of Us team is taking over the Uncharted production.
My impression is that Naughty Dog seems to have something of a low employee retention rate reputation tho, seems like their productions usually have a bunch of people flock out afterwards (though I guess that can be said for most large studios that crunch hard).

Amy Hennig, the creative director on the Uncharted series, has apparently left ND.

QuoteCiting numerous "trusted sources" close to Naughty Dog, IGN reports that Hennig was writing and leading the development of the next instalment of the Uncharted series for PlayStation 4 before her final day with the developer on March 3. According to IGN, sources claim the creative director was "forced out" of the company.

Slightly disappointed that they're not doing their own new IP, but it will be interesting to see what they do with this one.

Well, there were rumours about Arkane Austin working on Prey 2, don't remember whether anything concrete came out about that tho.

Yase would good like~~

Been thinking about buying one of the TF2 t-shirts for ages now, but the last couple of times they've been sold out in the sizes I wanted. That hoodie does look quite nice as well, might do some Valve merch shopping too~~

Fuck yeah dude, looks great!~~

Main reason that I'm a sucker for early adoption, especially with consoles, is that I love to be part of the hype and excitement, and I know that makes me superficial as hell, but I don't give a fuck.
Yeah the launch lineups are almost always disappointing, and you often get the quiet lull that we're in right now where nearly no platform specific titles are being released, and as such it feels ridiculous to have bought it so early, however with Sony for example I know that I'm going to want their 1st party titles, so might as well get it early

Plus I agree with HP in that it often feels really good to support the things that you like and want more of. I don't want Sony's 1st party to go away, so supporting that as much as possible seems like the right thing to do.
In the case of stuff like the Retina Macbook Pro, Retina iPad and iPhone 4 it was mainly because I actually needed them, but also because it was the first time in years where there was actually cutting edge tech that wasn't just about things running faster. Even if you get all the early production problems, then it's pretty cool to feel like you're living 1 step ahead in the future.

Aye good stuff, I followed your advice and started over on Hard difficulty and it's already a lot more fun, starting with nothing and having to build your way up.
