One thing you gotta keep in mind with these kinda high demanding games is that just because the option is there, then it doesnt mean its meant to be played with yet. But yeah it can be kinda annoying when you got the über rig

Anyway, your problem Kosmo is simply just ram. 512mb is too little, even 1gb is too little imo.

Im probably waaaaay behind with this, but I just started watching it n Im totally loving it~

For anybody that doesnt know what the hell Im talking about, then its a show on Discovery Channel where two special effects guys test myths to prove their authenticity or possiblity.

Ive only watched some 6 episodes of season 2, but Im really itching for more

So, anybody else into this, and more importantly, got all episodes from season 1 and has a good upstream

anyway, if its hl2 then i guess decals wud be a better way to go, instead of having a shitload of textures doing it. Or having some transparent texture perhaps. Just seems like extreme overkill to manually do every piece.

I played Battlefield 2, and I plan to do so in coming time as well.

The action is really sweet, love the slow mo stuff.

But the weapon designs r horrible, look waaaay too much alike imo. Also it just doesnt look that good in general tbh. At this point we've all gotten used to this dynamic light shizzle, and this stuff with having huge sharp pitch black shadows just isnt cool anymore imo. Also their particle system is just waaaay too much on. Their intention is probably to make it look really tense, but it just looks crap with a shitload of particles hacking their way into the walls.

However things that were cool about the visuals: Bulletholes. Actually deformed the wall, or did some normal mapped thingy with it.

Anyway, even though Im not that impressed with its visual side, then I think the gameplay makes up for it, and it plays beautifully. Thought slow motion in games couldnt impress me anymore, but I was wrong ~

Yup, Silent Storm was one of the unnoticed games last year, and one of the best

Its funny with expansions, because with a game such as Battlefield 2, I dont want an addon with new gameplay or stuff like that. I just want more maps, more vehicles n more weapons. Fckn special forces :G

Big fan of the previous Heroes of Might n Magic games. Looking quite forward to this new one. The other Might n Magic games never did much for me tbh.
