The last bit with the pinky demon was cool, the rest was pretty horrible and stupid. But it looks fairly decent compared to other game based movies tbh. I mean common, its based doom, its a dumb game so what did you expect the movie to be like? Some serious and deep drama?

It was better than I expected, but nothing special really. Even the action was kinda shallow, and thats usually the only good thing about Michael Bay movies.

Anyway, you're forgetting Apple and Puma product placement as well. But yeah, it was horrible with all that product placement and it just made the movie worse instead of helping it.

I can't agree. UT2003/4 felt pretty soulless to me; it was simply nowhere near as enjoyable to play as UT1 on a on-foot combat basis.

Dont get me wrong, I think ut2004/03 are nice games, but they're not even near the original UT in awesomeness imo.

the remake was crap tho imo, the simplicity of the original made it alot better imo :G

still, the original is one of the best maps to date
