I love (hate) it when trailers use the music from other trailers/movies, gives it alot more cheap feel imo :G
Anyway, looks like it could be a pretty good action flick

Pretty interesting concept with the drops, and the stuff they show there looks pretty sweet. My patience with WW2 shooters is really running thin though :G
Whoa, thats amazing, gonna say congrats here then he can check it out when it gets working ![]()
Dice is one of the hottest game studios atm imo, sweet shit ![]()
pwn, had no idea they were doing a new turtles movie until i read it yesterday~
oh common, the inferno remake was awesome, best looking cs:s map imo, and it runs fine for me. Never was a big fan of the original inferno, but the remake felt so much more alive that I really like it now ![]()
The train remake was pretty sad tho imo
Blu-ray, obviously
The stuff they've shown from Aftermath has been very far from impressive, so I doubt I'll get it~
Im very interested in seeing what they've done with Militia. I've had some pretty interesting ideas for a remake of it for Source but never bothered doing it, hope they've done something cool with it ![]()
Looks good, a huge improvement from the first pictures you posted a while ago~
That certainly helped, but theres still a bit of it here n there
Btw, does any of you have problems with HL2 or CS:S or wutevr in steam, taking ages to shut down, almost feels like its frozen? Seems like theres alot fucked up with Steam atm D:
I've been trying to figure this out on my own by checking lighting and prop tutorials but I've come up with no solution yet, and there's bound to be some of you that know how to fix this.

as the arrows indicate the props show up way too bright, as if they dont take an consideration to the actual brightness of their whereabouts. Ive tried using info_lightings to make em fit in, but that doesnt work very well either, and on some objects (such as the garbage bin and the phones on the picture) it looks like it puts the enviroment in the props textures through way too much. With the flourecent lights I figured out you got that skin change thing, but even that really makes it look a whole lot better. Does it have anything to do with the props pivot point or something like that? :G
Anyway, Im sure one of you got some absolutely brilliant compile command that will make it all well
Looks like Half-Life 2, not Sin. Really liked the Sin style back when it was released, still think its a good game too (when its patched up and works that is). Really sad to see them fuck it up like this.
Even though its the most popular Podcast to date then I thought I'd help it a bit on the way in case any of you sad sods still havent heard it. Its not so much Ricky Gervais or Steven Merchant (The creators of The Office) that shine here (although they're funny as hell too), but rather Karl Pilkington who is absolutely brilliant. I wont spoil any of it, just check it out ![]()

GO!
I agree with rd, the combat was totally amazing, but pretty much everything else didnt do that much for me. The graphics had their moments, but in general they just look dull and tacky, and obviously the leveldesign and architecture feels way too mockup'ish in pretty much the entire game. Also I didnt find it very scary, only got a few shocks through the game. Condemned (Also a Monolith game) did it alot better for me, building up a really tense atmosphere and just tried to sneak up on you and fuck your mind at the right times.
Still, FEAR is a pretty good game but its no way as complete a package as some people make it sound (IMO
)
Yeah thats the problem, I gave $1.100 for it, but now its costs around $1.600, so that might be a tad too much D:
Its an absolutely amazing monitor though
I would say go for the Dell 24" like me, but otherwise then Samsung make some fine monitors (at least the one I had was excellent stuff).
Praise Tha Lord!
Yikes, major bump.
Anyway, that stuff looks like a fans interpretation of it, but I am pretty interested in seeing someone actually play a game with it, or get to play with it myself. Im also kinda tired of hearing people say that just because Nintendo are doing something different than the other guys its automaticly going to be great, Im almost more sceptical with the Revolution than with the PS3 in some ways. We know that PS3 is gonna be the same shit over again, but they havent even shown anybody actually using the Revolution controller yet, which I find somewhat disturbing considering they're launching the console this year. I really hope it works out for them though, big Nintendo ![]()
And hopefully it wont be too long, even in Europe ![]()
Just curious, but what will you be doing there? Q&A?
Looks good, actually I kinda like that bright hdr thing you got going in some of the shots, but it does look a tad unrealistic ![]()
