The game is awesome. But the character Jauffre has the sillyest voice in the galaxy.

Yeah, in general I think its fine that they use the same say 10 voice actors for all the NPCs in the game, but that guy that voices Jauffre really got on my nerve, so fckn annoying D:!

Btw, maybe its just because I'm not playing a very stealthy character, but how the hell do you steal stuff without being confronted by guards right after? Even when you're in a totally remote and concealed place they figure out you stole something. Do you need to be in stealth mode/crotch or what?

Looking at the ingame timer it says Ive played for around 26 hours now !

Totally love it now, I admit that I've had somewhat deluded expectations and that it takes a while to get used to the way the game works. However when you're really into its an awesome game, been trying to get into the main quests again but I keep finding some Inn where some folks are having problems sending me in another way, quite awesome . Theres also a tremendous amount of variation in the different quests. Although you get those generic "go kill stuff in a cave" quests from time to time then Im quite impressed with the degree of variation in the quests, also by the number of them.

Something Ive been thinking about regarding getting into the game and my hard startup is that this really is a game that in general feels amazing. Problem is, like many say about their fears of photorealism in games, rather than making things more believable it outlines the limitations and the things that are wrong, where as games today generally leave alot to the imagination of the player. I think this somehow goes with Oblivion as well (Not that it looks photorealistic, obviously ) because it felt like a really cool place, but the constant strange actions of NPCs and that kind of stuff sort of breaks the illusion and in my case made the game less appealing. However once you realize whats messed up and live with it you can continue dwelving into the world.

Oh yeah, anybody else had the "bug" where pair of NPCs in Inns and such have the exactly same conversation at once? So you hear the exact same dialogue being spoken pretty much at once by 4 NPCs? . I've had around 6 of those so far

Oh and for those that complain of its obvious consoley feel, I've tried both the PC and 360 version and I honestly think the 360 plays better. Even though you sometimes have to point you view very carefully to pick up a small item then it works really well. The PC is obviously better in this, but I found the menus horrible to navigate, where as they're freaking fast when you're used to them on the 360.

Oh yeah I'm also getting pretty owned at the moment, lots of Minotaurs and Trolls are starting to appear and they just rip me to threads in no time. Good thing I got myself a über fast 5000 gold horsie so I can run away from them

Yikes I need to talk more and work less...or the other way around :G

Looks good Oski, maybe making it a tinniewinnie bit brighter would be nice. Seems just tiny notch too dark imo, but thats the aim I assume

Yeah, thats one thing thats really annoying on the 360, scrolling up and down the inventory. The actually switching between menus is quite cool though.

Currently going around doing guild stuff in the towns atm, good fun

Okay I take it back, it is pretty damn sweet. Been following the main story line a lot more and now I realize thats what I should've done to begin with.

Theres still some pretty annoying things though, like that quest where you need to guide the 2 guys on horse to a village was a real pain, one of the constantly getting stuck some place so I had to go back and find him, took me ages to get it done :G

Its quite frustrating because it seems like other people are having a much better experience than me, even though desperately trying to really get into it, and I truely want to like it.

Think I just need to play it some more :G

First I tried the PC version which left me pretty/extremely sceptical

Then I got the 360 version yesterday, was a lot better, felt more solid and complete.

Now I've played some more today, starting to notice the annoying things from Morrowind in this one. The fact that all characters still feel like they're a fucking HTML document with just words like "Rumour" or some name to ask really doesnt cut it for me. It has loads of content but not really much depth. This thing people keep saying with the game being really immersive is pretty hard to spot as well. The characters constantly fumble around on the terrain and geometry and look crappy as hell, stuff like that isnt exactly what i'd call immersive :G.

The graphics are quite good but seriously, they really should've done something about their long distance LOD. The mountains you see in the distance have like a 4x4 texture and it just stick out so much that it hurts everything. With everything they got going on I doubt having just a tad higher texture theshold on their terrain LOD would hurt much.

Anyway I could ramble on about loads of small annoying things that loads of people are apparently totally ignoring.

It is a quite nice RPG and I'm sure I havent gotten to the parts where it gets really good yet, but its not really the improvement over Morrowind that I had hoped (And I liked Morrowind and all but it wasnt really what i'd call a great game).

    Muh

Oh and seriously those lizards and furries/tigermen totally fuck up their universe, why the hell do they have to add these lame races. GUH!

Wow so negative, okay Im done

Haha sweet, never seen that trailer before but I remember the first picture I saw of Half-Life was with some sandbags and a green hud.

Also quite cool to see those now classic textures used so ineffiecently

Doubt I'll buy an Alienware again (I really like their computers, they're just too damn expensive), but I guess this will likely make it easier to buy an Alienware than it used to. Was pretty complicated for me to get one, lots of stuff with calling to Ireland in order to get the money transfer through :G

One can hope they'll turn down the price on Alienware machines, maybe I'll buy another then

Oh and Thrk, I could've told you that their laptops are crap. I dont understand why anybody would buy them anyway, so horribly ugly D:

Actually its sort of an inside joke for danish people, it strongly resembles a character from a danish kids show, shown below

Well I think its safe to say its real, looking at the PC Gamer scans then I doubt anybody would bother putting this much work just to trick some people.

Donno about the game, looks more like an addon for BF2 than something new tbh
