We've had that one plastered on a wall in the level designer room for quite a while now. As KFS said, funny/sad because its true.

I really regret being so negative about Thief 3 when I played it. Every time something happened I couldn't help but think of how cool it could've been. But looking back then its still a pretty good game, no way near as good as the first two, but still pretty good .

Its funny, Assassins Creed sorta looks like what I'd want in a new Thief game. Something thats free roaming and actually feels like a world rather than just a couple of scenes connected through alleys.

Its very much like a simplified Dungeon Keeper, but on a smaller scale so you dont have to move around a huge area like a paranoid fuck.

The biggest surprise for many is probably that its much deeper and more complicated that it might look. From its presentation it looks like a very simple and kid friendly game, but if you really wanna get into it, its fairly complicated with lots of micromanagement.

Thats awesome! I just hope you're going to make some slight variations in the gameplay. Would be a shame to remake the entire game and not make it just a bit different~

I actually liked the Blazing Angels demo once it got going, but never got around to buying it... it seems like this may have been for the better considering some stuff that ended up in the full game.

The idea behind the game is good, its just so frustrating to play since the controls seem like they're working against you, rather than making the game feel responsive and rewarding. Also it doesn't look very good, and those wisecracking squad mates get annoying after about 10 seconds.

Wii launch here in 3 weeks or so, so much for global launch .

Obviously Zelda is the obligatory game to get with it, no question about that. Just wondering what else I should get, now that Red Steel is in fact as shit as it looked.

Hmmm, Super Monkey Ball and Trauma Center :G~

  • So...anyone played Gears of War yet?

I'm stuck at RAAM, and I'm playing alone on hardcore D:

    ::SLIGHT SPOILER::

Its really weird, lots of people I've talked with had lots of problems with RAAM even in co-op, I took him down in my second go alone, on hardcore (Dont wanna sound cocky, but thats what happend). I just dodges around him to get to the chain gun, then I just waited for the kryll to get the fuck off him and then I unloaded on him and got him just before I died. Strange thing is that I didn't get the achievement for taking RAAM down, so I went back and killed him with the conventional weapons, which was a lot harder than the chain gun

    Anyway, thats the easy way

  • Tom Clancy games...License or Original IP?

I've never understood why they plaster Tom Clancy's name all over those titles. It means nothing to me, and in fact I'd rather be without it since it just makes the title of those games ridiculously long. Anyway, as far as I know Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon are entirely made up by the developers, and given that they dont really have special story relating to anything Tom Clancy afaik then why the hell bother?

But I guess the Clancy name sells copies for some people :G

Looks sweet man, but as the others mentioned the HDR ruins it. Sort it aut!

  • So...anyone played Gears of War yet?

Completed it yesterday. Played about half of the game in co-op, did the other half on my own. There were seriously bits where I just had to take 10 minute breaks and go around and look at stuff. So gorgeous. Started playing it on Insane yesterday, not as hard as I imagined actually.

Played some MP too, although I got really owned a lot in the beginning. It's fairly hard since people play extremely aggressively, and you cant really depend on outsmarting guys with tactics when they're storming into your face with shotguns blazing :G
