Current job is sucking the life out of me and I feel like I need a fresh start somewhere. If it goes tits up, then it goes tits up... at least I tried and had the experience - but maybe I'm just trying to reassure myself there! You guys always offer sound advice, I guess I'm just looking for opinions again, what would you guys do?
To me it sounds like you already answered your own question there

...and after writing that, I read this:
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-…area-per-planet
QuoteDisplay More"Yeah, we're calling them destinations," community manager David "DeeJ" Dague explained. "You go to Mars, you go to the Moon, you've got Venus, and you've got Earth."
We've seen concept art for those locations before - but what about outside the solar system?
"Not so far," he said. "We've revealed everything that you'll explore in the first version of the game."
Reaction to the news was mixed - while Old Russia is a large area, some fans expressed disappointment at it being potentially just a quarter of the game's open space.
Hmmm, that doesn't seem like a whole lot of content at launch TBH

It's true, it's sort of like Borderlands but the difference is that THIS IS FUN TO PLAY AND HAS GUNPLAY THAT'S WORTH A DAMN. Also, Halo games are solid when it comes combat, so it being "mixed with Halo" isn't bad imho.
Also, fuck originality. If it's fun it's fun it's fun.

Yup, I just hope that there's going to be enough diverse weapons and equipment in the full game. Then again that's my only real concern with it after playing the Beta; whether it'll have enough interesting content to make it last longer than a week. I really hope there will be some more unique missions thrown in for some variation to the gather x number of items/hack terminal/kill thing missions that made out the Beta.
Oh and I played the moon level in the weekend, was cool shit. I think they've had a tough time on the PR side in making this game feel really exciting when it comes to the gameplay, but after the Beta it's one of the games I'm looking most forward to in the second half of the year.

Do try and have more cars flipping over in your trailer

But yeah, looks pretty cool
-
Really digging it so far, tho I do wish that everything was a bit more seamless/less compartmentalised.
-
Sounds pretty good to me, big budget old school shooter, or at least it sounds a whole lot better than what was leaked a few years ago.
-
Finish that shit Ravage, THATS AN ORDER!!!
-
Thank fuck that it didn't go into penalty shootouts. Really good match, pretty damn close.

Anyway, sweet ref images~

F2P Zombie MOBA

But those last shots are pre-rendered, at least I'm fairly certain they were on PS3. Still cool that they've tweaked and tuned those, and the other stuff does look better, it's the 1080p 60fps that seals the deal for me tho (plus there's nothing else coming out in July, lawl).

Finally decided to get this since so many folks have been raving on about it. Pretty atrocious start to the game, but maaan does it pick up afterwards, really enjoying it now~~

Just finished it, a very touching experience, did feel perhaps a notch too simple in the gameplay department, but at least it always kept moving and you never got stuck. Really happy I picked it up~

Like what? Serious question. Also not claiming that Sony's line up is strong but there's a lot coming and so far, for me at least, nothing that's announced for the 180 interested me. Maybe I missed something.
I'd say of good first party titles, PS4 has Infamous and Resogun. With Xbox One, though granted I haven't played these extensively since I don't own the console, then theres Forza 5, Dead Rising 3 and Titanfall (though that's not really a first party title as such, PC and that).
For the rest of 2014 on PS4 then there's....Drive Club? Maybe? On Xbox One there's Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, plus I could be persuaded into getting the Remastered Halo pack and play Halo 2 again. None of those are exactly system sellers, but if you judge the lineups solely on first party, then I'd say the Xbox One stands stronger for 2014.
There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that the PS4 is the more worthwhile platform to have for first party titles further in the future, but right now they're pushing everything into 2015 and beyond. And besides, right now I'm really happy that I got the PS4 first, since the best stuff has been 3rd party, which always runs and looks better on PS4.

Absolutely, we talked about this in the e3 thread. Shame it's Xbone exclusive, but with all these rumours around that M$ might drop the kinekt soon, I might pick it up when that happens.
You are aware that they've announced and released a cheaper Xbox One SKU without the Kinect, right? Did that nearly a month ago now.
But yeah, with this and Forza Horizon 2 then I'm fairly certain that I'll end up getting an Xbox One in the later part of the year. So far I'd actually say that their released first party titles are much stronger than what Sony's been able to dish out.

The Core takeover of CS:GO continues, excellent!
Grats dudes~~

Started playing it, just about an hour in. Not the most inspiring gameplay so far, but man it looks fantastic, plus for once I'm actually reading the history facts its throwing at you.
