Aye, love the first shot. That level is old as mountains btw, saying that I've done graphics for it is an indicator of just how ancient it is. Couple of years since I was working as a gfx artist

That said, its definitely had some spicing up since then, pretty intense level too

Yeah, we're definitely not trying take on the best in the business in terms of graphics, but it'll look good enough so shush! Oh and the gameplay will hella slick. I guarantee that K&L will also have the best weapon sounds in a game to date (at least in my opinion). Really satisfying to use most of em, something you dont see often in games these days. Might think weapon sounds are minor, but they're the essence of shooters I tell ya! That and rumble ;D

Just finished C&C3's campaign on the 360 the other day, good stuff. Too bad I get gang raped every time I try to play it online. Its a fucking joke just how good the people that play that game online are.

Anyway, preordered Forza 2 and ordered a Wii game of all things. Mario Strikers Charged, hopefully it'll last more than 2 hours (Unlike all other Wii games, pffft)

I'm certainly not holding my breath for its release, wouldn't be surprised if we don't see it out until 2009-2010, even when its looking like its fairly far into production. Remember Warcraft 3? When was the first time they showed that off? 2000? And it was released around 2004. Really hope this isn't the case, but I'm prepared for the worst.

Anyway, like I said in the old thread, anyone up for some Starcraft in the weekend? (Only if you haven't played in ages and wont kick ass that is ).

I totally agree that the graphics are hardly mind blowing, but they look good enough and like with WoW they have a very simplistic look that'll make it hold up in the long run. Their particles and effects look awesome though, that stuff looks sick.

I agree with KFS, if they go with an Oblivion look to it'll pretty much ruin the feel of the thing. I'm obviously naive, thinking it'll look exactly like the old games, just 3D and good
