    Am I the only one that doesn't give a fuck about UT3? I mean I'll play it and probably have a good time, but it just overall looks utterly uninspired even with all the wonderful looking graphics and impressive tech. I donno, after Gears of War I'd much rather have Epic do a new single player Unreal instead of the Tournament incarnations over and over.

    The jelly cube is pretty cool, but it just lacks the excitement that I felt the first one had (and to a certain extent 2003 and 2004).

    Only think I'll get one if the one I have now breaks. If they added a second thumbstick I'd be all over it tho (Which they'll never do with this generation )

    I donno, I have a strong feeling that this (like all other Wii games for me) will have me playing for about 2 hours, then take a break and never come back to it.

    I did love Metroid Prime 1 tho, never tried the 2nd, so I guess it has better chance of actually being worth a fuck. There's just so many other games coming out now, it really has to be good to be a contender :G

    EDIT: Oh and Super Paper Mario is finally coming out here soon anyway, think I'd much rather be playing that

    You obviously mean Big Daddy. Although a cool idea I guess, the escort stuff just didn't feel like a proper way to end off the non-boss fight part of the end. Its not that it was really bad, just didn't feel up to par with the rest of the game imo.

    :: SYSTEM SHOCK 2 SPOILER ::

    Common, although the actual ending was shite, the part leading up to it was fuckin ace~having the game finally go all SS1 on you, more sequels should do that, mebbe

    :: BIOSHOCK SPOILER ::

    But yeah, I agree, when the entire game is this good, the end really has to be epic, and it almost seemed like they knew that and had just given up on it (I mean common, have you seen the "good" ending? Looks like something from a Japanese game ). Its pretty much the only thing thats really putting some doubt in my mind whether its a 10/10, which in the end is totally unfair when the game is overall this good

    I was pretty disappointed to find out it was Fontaine tweaking my knobs after all (SHODAN style in ss2, anyone?). I had a feeling Atlas was going to butt fuck me in the end, and I was right to assume after all. However, the way it was explained to you with the whole "Would you kindly" malarkey was stupendously brilliant in every way possible. I dunno, I was hoping for something different to the Fontaine thing I suppose... something more epic than just some asshat being an... asshat. I never really got Ryan either, he was just an ego maniac being targeted by Fontaine and ended up going nuts seeing his city crumble around him thanks to Fontaine, I'm assuming?

    Oh also, when you're told by Atlas he has a family etc and they're in the submarine, what was actually in there? Seeing as it was Fontaine I'm assuming it wasn't a family at all...

    SPOILER, OBVIOUSLY

    Yeah, I kinda expected more out of the Fontaine plot as well I guess. Especially since they already had the plot twist about halfway through the game, which kinda made me expect that they'd take it further the more I played it (And I wanted them to take it further). The entire thing with Ryan maybe wasn't explored quite enough either, the stuff with you being his son given away to some scientists was pretty well hidden (Something Irrational/2K Boston kinda want you to go outta your way to figure out).

    But yeah, the plot twist was definitely the high point of the experience for me, which is definitely not a bad place to peak, just forces you to think back on the entire game rather than have the ending wrap it up for ya

    ::SPOILERS SPOILERS::

    ::SPOILERS SPOILERS::

    What I meant by a dip was the escort mission. Now its not the worst escort mission in a game ever, but then again I cant really remember a game where I actually enjoyed an escort mission. Maybe its just me, I donno. It's not like it was bad, I just think the entire game was a marvel in brilliant decisions and great design, and it definitely took down some of its appeal as a whole for me there (Which would otherwise have been totally absurdly high).

    Anyway, aye, I'm going through it on Hard as well, rescuing all the Little Sisters. I too missed like two weapon upgrade stations, so I'm thinking of finding a walkthrough since I just looked about everywhere and never saw those missing two . Also trying to get the tape recorders achievement, kinda doubt on that one tho

    You're right about the auto aim, but for the most part I didn't feel that it was a problem (shotgun ftw!)

    By the way (And I'm not, deliberately, trying to hihack the thread), am I the only one that think BioShock did not have the UE3 look? Maybe its because the visual style is so unique, but it just looked like some inhouse engine more than anything.

    Indeed, it did not look that good overall. It was pretty cool gameplay wise tho, definitely a step in the right direction for the MOH games if they aren't going modern war like everybody else . Their lean mechanic worked really well tho, really dug that.

    Oh and was I the only one that for once couldn't distinguish between allies and axis in this game, I constantly thought allies were axis and vice versa, damn Italian look-a-likes

    Aye, my bad. I just cant help but talk about it, and noone has finished it but me

    Its frustrating. That said, its not really a spoiler that'll change your experience of the game tbh, but I guess that isn't my choice to make that decision.

    ::SPOLIERISH KINDA MEBBE::

    Its funny, in the beginning I did kinda saw what most reviews talked about, being that it was kinda hard to choose between harvesting and rescuing the Little Sisters. However once I harvested my first it just seemed to take a hold of me, and from there on out I only occasionally rescued them

    Mmmm ADAM

    Also, I kinda wanted the Big Daddies to harder to kill, the fights were hyped up way too much. After your first 2 or so it just seemed like you would barely start fighting them before they died and I always kinda wanted the fights go on for a bit longer. Hope its more of a real challenge on Hard .

    Oh and if you're actually having problems taking them out: Flame Thrower with Electric Gel can take them out in about 1 clip, and the resources to invent the gel ammo is very easy to come by
