Its sick. I cant even begin to imagine what good developers will be able to get outta the PSP by the end of its life cycle.

Installed it and tried to start a SP server 3 times, but each time it got up it would just freeze when I came to the bit where you have the overhead view and need to pick teams. Then after freezing (and force shutting it down) and opening it up again it would just freeze the computer entirely, forcing me to completely reboot the computer.
Couldn't be bothered to update my gfx drivers, donno if thats it (Saw on their page that it said that you need to update if you have an ATI card, mine is Nvidia though).
Anyway, they blew their chance, aint gonna play it now

As much as I love Indy (my fav trilogy evah!) and want to mindlessly stand by it, then I think thats a pretty horrible title. Like they said on Cinematical, sounds like something from He-man

But reading the Wiki info then it does sound like it could be pretty cool, although sadly more in the Temple of Doom category (Everybody's least favourite). Plus it wont be the same without Nazis anyway :G

let me give you a run down of a conversation I had with potential client once. This isn't word for word but it's pretty damn close:Client: "What we really want to do is pick up on market synergies to maximzie brand potential."
Izuno: "Ok. So what does that mean for your marketing plan, specifically?"
Client: "...................huh?"
Izuno: "Well, what do you mean by 'pick up on market synergies to maximize brand potential'?"
Client: ".......uh....you know, we want to...leverage synergies between our brand value and current market trends."
Izuno: "What brand values specifically are you talking about?"
Client: "..................well, gamers will resonate with our core brand focus."
Izuno: "Ok, so what is your 'brand focus'?"
Client (excited): "We deliver a visceral cinematic combat experiece of an elite team in intense online battles."
Izuno: "...........Ok. So if that is the your 'brand focus' what do you intend to do with it?"
Client: "Well we think it will synergize with the market, and um..."
Izuno: "No, see, that's the problem. You need to be specific. You need to know what your game is about. Don't think about 'brands' and 'synergies.' This is a new game not based on a license. You have no brand. You need to think about how your game is original and delivers a fun gameplay experience. What's fun about your game?"
Client: (scoffing) "Who cares? This about building a brand!"
Izuno: "...................................................................Ok let me think about this and get back to you."
THATS GOLD!

Aye, I'm a huge Consolevania fan, the fluff piece was brilliant!

Indeed, people need to cool down. And to be honest then this kind of reply and action from 2K doesn't surprise me at all. They're really begging for a kick in the face with this kind of attitude but I'm surprised that you're surprised by this kind of thing. I'm sure all publishers would love to have each user buy their own copy even if they all live under the same roof, some just don't have the balls to pull that kinda thing yet it seems. After all, no matter what anybody says then they're here for the money, not to please you

Oh and btw, consoles ftw, fuck the PC

iPhone still has 2 year mandatory contract in it so it'll cost a lot carrots in the end. (60 bux /month in US)
I dont really care. I've been using phones for the last couple of years that have a lot of features but I generally only use like the basic functions of them, so I figure that I'd easily be able to use the iPhone for them 2 years. And to be perfectly honest then I use my iPod so much daily that I'd nearly be willing to pay anything for it. What I'm pissed about is the actual specs, I'd just wish they'd make like a wonder iPod touch that cost a shitload but was actually practical, would be great.
-
The iPod touch is pretty damn cool, but the 16GB's kill it for me. Seriously, you'll be juggling content like there's no tomorrow, at least if you also plan on using it for videos. Its like having a Nano but with a huge fuckoff screen with the potential of doing really cool stuff. Also the thing that impressed me most of all the announcements was actually the iPhone pricecut. The 8gig iPhone cost the same as the 16GB touchPod, makes it seem even dumber to get an iPod touch considering that its not that long before the iPhone will get here.
I still think they should've made a bigger and thicker version which was harddrive based, but apparently they're trying to stay all away from that now (probably battery efficiency of flash memory).
I need a new iPod (lock on my 60gig iPod photo is fucked up), but I'm pretty sure I'll feel really dumb by getting the 16gig touch compared to a 160gig classic.
Oh and plus there's so few wifi hotspots here in Denmark that the entire internets thing wont really matter much, yet anyway.

Aw man, I remember playing the first one for months! Was fucking insane, loved the entire feel of that game, such cozy graphics! They 2nd one was awesome too, expanded quite well on the first one.
Anyway, new one? YOSH! I'll check it tomorrow at work!
-
Ah nice, never really got around to playing them for real but the few times I did try them they worked quite well, definitely had the Star Wars vibe more than a lot of other recent games. Also, more games needs to be Battlefieldified~
