<-- Mindblown
Bungie must've threatened with totally dismantling the entire studio unless MS accepted this deal, or something.
I donno, makes no sense, but then again MS might value having Bungie on their good side so much that they'd allow it (300 mills first week and all).
I'd love to know the details

Hah, did not mean to post it in industry, gj looking out for ol mazz0l

Holy fuck thats awesome!
drunken russian architecture~ -
Yikes with the RROD parade D:
Next time mine breaks, I'll (obviously) send it in for "repairs", but I'll also get an Elite backup. I think having 2 in rotation should be enough. I'm sure as hell not gonna go through that painful waiting game again, I've had enough of that

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/…tuation-Halo-3I haven't played it yet... nor do I particularly want to.
I disagree as much with his review of Halo 3 as I agreed with his Bioshock review

On Normal its any other shooter, on the harder difficulty levels you get something you cant get anywhere else. Also I think the campaign is the perfect size. Adding 1 or 2 more chapters would've made it too long I bet. Halo 1 had way too many chapters, and it ended up being way too long. Its a good 6-8 hours on Normal, thats the standard these days.
Plus the MP is part of the game. I totally understand people that get games solely for the SP, I generally do that as well, but when you mention other reviews and what they said and then totally ignore the MP, a fairly big portion of what people are excited about, then you're just dumb.
Whatever, like I care about who likes it

Even if you hate Halo you gotta admit that this is fucking brilliant

-
Lets just say that this is maybe 10 words of essence and a 100 of mindless filler. Apparently the real thing is supposed to go up on Friday. But yeah, its really vague, I agree.

Was thinking of picking it up this week, but Halo 3 Legendary and MP is keeping me busy. And then PGR4 is out next week. Might borrow it from someone at work tho, not quite sure its one I'm gonna buy
Liked the controls tho, though I sucked big time at it

-
Soooo amazingly dumb, I love it! ;D
-
Ayes, about fucking time as well

-
Aye, it was snuck in at work today, he didn't say a word about it

I understand tho, I think birthdays are pretty dumb as well

So without further ado; Happy escape from womb day

Heh, would definitely be interesting if it turned out to be true, but I donno, seems fairly far fetched to me.
Then again, I guess this could mean that everybody from Bungie is leaving and setting up a new studio, and Microsoft takes over their Halo shop completely.

Started playing the campaign on Legendary alone yesterday. Insanely hard, I was more kinda preparing for playing some co-op Legendary later on, but its actually a lot of fun trying to do it on your own without the respawns. The AI is just so brutal and clever at flanking that you really need to keep on your toes, and while you'll be able to take a few steps back and pick guys off from a distance in some situations, then there are others where you just need to engage it like a puzzle from each checkpoint, and plan carefully how to get each enemy. Also the enemies you didn't even notice on Normal or Heroic suddenly become an actual obstacle here.
Really having an awesome time with it on Legendary, great stuff for when you've completed the game. Takes me about 3x the time it took on my first play through

-
Grats Sa74n, donno if I'm gonna get it. I tried to try the demo, but it kept freezing my computer when I tried to enter a game (At the first spawn screen with the top down map). After 3 tries I gave up.
Not as much into PC gaming as I used to anyway since I can run next to nothing on my home machine, but I might just pick it up for the 360

Hehe cool stuff, gave level 16 two tries then I gave up
