Completed it, really liked the ending. I like games that do something else than just pitting you against a guy with rocket launchers in his fingers and trillion hit points. Another awesome cinematic moment. In fact this game has so many awesome cinematic set pieces that they almost compete with each other of which ones to remember more than the other.
By the way, I do kinda agree with you Algor. It does seem like the game doesn't have a very clear line of "this is how the game is", but I kinda like that, getting loads of variation in there.
Also just had a few matches of MP, I could swear one of the players on my team was 5 years old, was horrible. The kid, not the game

I'm still not quite sure what exactly to expect from Assassin's Creed. I mean I REALLY want it, but it still seems somewhat hazy as to what kinda game it really is.
But yeah, next Friday

OMG the AC-130 level is amazing! Love how the radio chatter has that lifeless edge to em, exactly like them movies on the internets. Also look extremely authentic, excellent postfilter stuff going on
Also loved the Chernobyl level, got pretty adrenaline pumping at times

Still not done though, been playing the entire evening too, expected to finish it tonight but its actually holding up quite nicely.
Really good game, I salute you IW guys! (And I haven't even started playing the MP yet!)

HAH! Just got the "Rescue Roycewicz" achievement, awesome

Just played it for a good 1 hour or so, got to the end of the TV station level. Fucking amazing game so far, and if it keeps this level of quality then I won't be disappointed about it being some 5 hours long. People should stop whining about short games if they're this good while they last

Oh and best opening sequence to a game, ever. (Not the training mission though, tanker and the car ride)!

Why do you need all 3 consoles? That's something I don't understand.
Maximize your possibilities
. So far there's been little sense in owning a PS3 (besides the Blu-ray stuff) and a 360, but there are those few games that do make it worth having (Yeah, I for one am looking forward to Uncharted~) -
Not playing any old stuff right this moment, but I usually pick up some old games and play once per month. Warby is playing Indy: Fate of Atlantis at the moment which has kinda made me wanna play Day of the Tentacle again. Just too many games coming the next month for that to make any sense :G

All 3, I was actually considering selling my Wii, but now that Mario Galaxy is coming out I'm definitely not gonna do that

-
Waaait, so isn't this how you're supposed to play Hitman?

-
Currently my most anticipated game of 07, cant wait until Friday, looks fucking brilliant! The Beta definitely sold me

-
You do have a point, but I dont really think that picture from the demo is the best showcase (Also I think it actually looks better for me on Very High).
Still though, I remember that movie where the player is moving around in a very dense jungle, and the final game definitely doesn't look that tight, but close enough
. I bet there are places in the full game that look even better than either of those pictures anyway~~stop whining!

Looks very much like something you'd expect outta a CTF like map, very symmetrical.
However those extra side paths around the map (Inside the building on the right, around the wall on the left) definitely makes a big difference.
But that is the thing, I cant do anything by simply picturing it on a piece of paper and then have the be the definitive layout to rule all layouts. Iterations ftw!

I'm sorry for entire formatting of this post, even I am having a hard time reading it. Just looks confusing!

Can't believe that someone haven't posted these yet, I found them really cool
Making of Overgrown (big <3) and Crash (also big <3, slightly less tho!).

Found myself going back and forth checking out how each area changed, really cool stuff. Wish more developers would do this kinda stuff for bonus material and such~

Actually the flak towers are quite real (Even though they exaggerated its size in the game).

Other wise another funny review, for a WW2 shooter I kinda liked it. Definitely had some cool moments when you were dropping in, but the replay value wasn't as good as you'd expect :G

I don't think their 1st party lineup, in direct competition, has any chance of survival this holiday season, but its strong enough to move numbers. They're definitely still in a position where they're hardly the best choice for anyone want good games as their main priority (And those games on the same day as the 360).
I guess its okay when smaller studios delay titles for the PS3 in a few instances, but its come to the point where I'm almost impressed if a game manages to come out on 360 and PS3 on the same date, so many games slipping. Whats even more concerning is when someone like EA is having problems with it. That entire Madden 08 thing is just the worst case scenario for Sony, running at half the frame rate of the 360, and looking exactly the same. When they have the worst "next gen" version of a big seller like Madden then they really should put nearly everything they have into at least getting those big titles equalized to their competitors.
Anyway, it does feel like there are still major changes going through Sony and hopefully they'll only continue to make more sane decisions from now on. Although I feel that the 360 definitely deserves to win this generation (Its doing all the things I want right in a console), then its good for the entire industry that Sony gets out of their slumber and step up. If they ever deserved any overall support, now is the time.

Woo, now go make Freedom Fighters 2!
If only it was that simple...
Quote from e-freakI just made some advertisement today at school when a fellow A-Level Student had a games magazine because looking for crytek review I sent him to the Kane and Lynch Preview and told him to buy it and that some of the coolest guys I know worked on it

Aww, heart warming

Ayes saw it a while ago, looks like it could be pretty good. The entire thing with being captured and designing the suit instead of a nuke is slightly (!) weird, but who cares when its stuff like this
