    I gotta admit that I actually thought it was a pretty cool trailer as well. The cut with the scorpion that hammers the ground and the music matching was kinda cool ARRRGH JUMP WITH SWORDS!!!

    Finished the SP in one go, slightly underwhelmed but then again its obviously hard for any game to follow something as amazing as COD4, and with as ridiculous a hype train as MW2 has.

    Regarding the core gameplay then maybe its because I'm a muppet and I've actually bothered to finish COD4 on Veteran, and therefore experienced the infamous checkpoint gameplay in its most essential form, but with that in mind, I always felt a need to rush through the levels in MW2. I suppose its because I always felt like I was doing it slightly wrong if I was actually having some really long firefights with the AI, since they would just respawn until I popped through the trigger box. Donno if I'm alone on that.

    Just had a few rounds of MP and I can definitely see that thats where I'm gonna get the most enjoyment from this title. Not exactly down on it SP, just felt slightly above average, whereas COD4's SP campaign still stands as being absolutely amazing to me.

  • Dragon Age: Origins [BioWare]

    Everybody who's been playing it at work absolutely love it, so I'm probably gonna get it at some point when I have the courage for a 60h RPG. But it does seem like you have to get it for PC, so I guess I'll have to wait until I get Windows 7 on Bootcamp.

  • Fallout 3 lock-ups

    Played it on the 360 too, maybe had two freeze ups while playing it. Nothing too persistent tho D: . Around launch it was the PS3 version that was a horrid mess (Something with people on your friendlist coming online would completely crush the framerate and such), but that was fixed. Not exactly the most sturdy piece of software it seems

    I like the idea, but my experience with these kinda things when there's too many people is that it always ends up with everybody speaking at the same time and it having awkward pauses most the time because you're afraid to speak over somebody.

  • Company leaks game on purpose for pirating

    Hmmm, hope it turns out well for them. Didn't buy Trials HD on XBLA but I really liked the trial version (hur hur), was just too much other stuff to play when it came out and I kinda forgot to buy it.

    Oh and speaking of sites saving your credit card info, I both totally hate it and love it at the same time. With Amazon I've probably bought a few too many things that I probably shouldn't have since its so fast to check out, and on the other hand then it just makes it a breeze to buy new shit.

    Wait a minute, those seem like the same point, hmmm

  • Battlefield Bad Company 2

    Looks great! Really love that they've finally embraced the fact that BF2 was their best game and tried to make something like that for the consoles. One of my main beefs with the first BC was that the shooting felt pretty unsatisfying, but from the looks of that video it looks like it has a pretty punchy feel to it, nice.

    Ordered tickets the other day. Gotta admit I am pretty excited to see it, even if the stuff I've seen so far have been pretty damn poor on the design side.

    Also I've never seen a 3-D movie in a large cinema so that should make it a bit more interesting to boot

    I loved Bioshock the first time through, but my I made the horrible mistake of playing it two times back to back, and it really didn't hold up very well the second time through. Been more or less ignoring this new one for a while, but I guess that I will play it once it comes out, just ain't terribly excited about it.

    I wholeheartedly concur.

    Sometimes I've been tempted to change the title of threads that are obviously dedicated to a certain game (Like the MW2 and Borderlands threads right now for example), but I've felt it was slightly rude maybe to go in and do that, since people get what its about already.
