This one entered my radar after I saw this video:

However the two that you posted were just demoed really badly :G. Looked like it was from a usability test, the way he's running around like a fucking lunatic. Isn't the stuff that you usually see from these official game videos that are supposed to pimp the game.
Anyway, I like the art style and I'm very interested in seeing how that movement system actually works when you're trying to play for real. Just seems weird that they'd release that to showcase their game and not do a second take

Also, that's some insane weapon bobbing

I sense an idea that came straight from a Marketing think tank."Activision is making money hands over fist with their CoD franchise"
"We should try to take a part of that pie! What war franchise do we have?"
"Battlefield is already doing well, we can't risk overflooding the market with another spin-off"
"Ok let's revive Medal of Honor. Modern battles seems to be the new WWII, what can we do with this?"
"I know I know! Let's go for Afghanistan. The conflict is not going to be solved for another few years, so that also gives us plenty of time to think of sequels after the first game!"
The problem is you need to be better than CoD at this point to even stand a chance. So how much money are you going to spend on development AND marketing to even try to take the lead in that race? So either you fail miserably and forget the whole thing, or you make a reasonable amount of cash, but you still need a couple other installments to take that crown. Nevermind the fact that it would be a lot better to give this project to a extremely successful FPS team already, that can stick together for a few more years. The Infinity Ward model so to speak.
Giving the MP to DICE is a nice move, because that's what they do best. And this is also the most important component of the game. But the SP has to kick COD's ass big time. And that will take an enormous amount of talent
Aye, couldn't have said it better myself. I will however give them the benefit of the doubt.
And even though it was far from perfect, then I actually really enjoyed Airbourne, for what it was.

Aw man, those textures bring back memories from when I was working on that helipad level for NW, like 6 years ago D:
In a slightly parallel universe that MOD actually came out and was the fucking illest shit anybody ever witnessed~/me raises bottle of Coke in honor of NW

Haha, reminds me of an area of Tomb Raider Underworld, with a giant squid blocking some path, also some crypt looking area
QuoteI reached Rome yesterday, I figure I'm pretty much done now and I had hoped that Rome would actually be the entire city, but my gamer sense (aka common sense
) said that given how the story was winding down then it'd probably be some linear level and not an explorable one, and looking at the map it certainly looks like that. But that's totally understandable, pretty grand scale the game has either way. Stopped playing there tho as it was getting kinda late.Definitely one of the best games of the year in my opinion, good job Furyo

Ah yeah, I remember seeing this as a fairly unorganized web page at some point, better to have it in a PDF. Some really cool and innovative tech they crafted, at least considering that they were doing on the PS2.

Finally got to Venice and even though its been great so far, then its kinda what I've been waiting for all along, and its pretty fucking sweet. Finding myself pissing off soldiers just to get some intense chases going
. Plus I have maaad respect for the pathfinder in this game, the AI's might fuck up once in a while, but overall its amazing to see them find their way to you.Oh and I'm really digging the soundtrack, Jesper Kyd FTW

There's obviously something about it since so many people had trouble with it, but I once retried the mission 5 times in a row and got through it every single time. But I also knew what to do, I guess it was all in the lack of feedback from doing it right that turned people's heads.
