Hmmm yeah, I love Forza 3 but I definitely have had more fun with DiRT 2. Then again, I find it kinda weird putting them in the same category, since one is a simulator and the other is definitely knee-deep in arcadey racer territory.

Guess they couldn't be bothered to have more racing categories

Plus who really cares about the VGA's? Their main pull is their exclusive trailers, not who ends up winning their awards.

Still haven't unwrapped the first one, but I've also been super slow at getting to play it (Kinda tired of the Batman franchise tbh).

I finally bowed under and followed everybody at works advice and ordered Demon's Souls.

Really gonna give it a legit chance, but I REALLY hated stuff like Ninja Gaiden and games with completely ridiculous difficulty in general. The stories people are telling about it are pretty awesome tho, hope I'll end up liking it

Double Agent was kinda meh IMO, the MP in the SC games has always been really cool tho. The co-op stuff sounds nice, like this trend with separate co-op "campaigns" for games (ala spec ops in mw2)

Well that is true, but from what I've heard that is limited to them changing playlists/game modes and such in the game, and only accessing existing code. I'm pretty sure this is classified under bugs a would require a more fundamental fix, but yeah, who knows if they have some genius system where they can actually patch it in without a title update

Well updating it on the Xbox means a title update, and that costs monies after your first one (or two?), but given how large a role the MP plays in MW2 then I figure they didn't have to ask anyone for permission to do it.
