I'm with you on most of those, apart from Die Hard (Saying Die Hard 3 is the best is just ridiculous, even if its pretty damn good as well) and Star Wars (I actually prefer A New Hope to Empire Strikes Back). Also with BTTF, even though I think its really damn close, then the first movie is better, mainly because it just works as a standalone movie. Also I'd say Jurassic Park is better than the Lost World, but its nearly a tie in that case (Lost World has lots of Jeff Goldblum, which is awesome!).

For a very long while I was also completely sure that Last Crusade was without a single doubt my favorite Indy movie, but when you watch Raiders today then I'd almost say thats a tie as well (Tie for my fav movie EVAH!).

I'd go with a Sony W series TV, W5500 is the latest in their medium-high range. I bet you can get a 32" or maybe even a 40" version of those in Germany for under €500 (You know, less taxes and all, unlike in shitty Denmark ).

I've had 2 Sony LCDs, love(d) both of em. Only negative I have is that their biggest one is 52" that isn't in their über premium range, for my next one I'd like more than just a 6" upgrade, seems more or less impossible unless you go plasma though, which is definitely also an option.

Anyway, used to loathe Samsung based on their design and remote/menus, but their latest LED TVs are really nice, got a few at work and the contrast is pretty impressive (Even though its obviously not OLED, clever on Samsung's front that they try and confused people ).

From my experience I'd go with Sony again, even if they aren't the cheapest

Looks great insta, but pleeeeeeeease go do a payload map dude! Then you'll be like the president of awesome!

Apart from the super cool Dubai setting (I'd prefer it without the sand storm tho D: ) then it looks like a pretty generic shooter, but I guess that can be applied to lots of games. Just worried that you get some über colour brown fatigue after playing this game for 30 minutes :G

Anyway, could be good, too early to really judge.

Heh okay, I just think it'd be more interesting to see them tackle something completely different since they obviously nailed tropical jungles. Anyway, the idea of doing an urban environment sounds cool, can't wait to see how amazing it'll look

Was pretty good, an absolute masterpiece technically, amazing just how well they had CG blend with live action. It was also the first time I saw a 3D movie and it was pretty spectacular, most times you wouldn't really notice it that much but then there'd be scenes with multiple layers and things going in front of the middle and it just makes the picture so alive. The subtitles were really fucking annoying though. There were obviously danish subtitles throughout, and in the beginning I would look down at them once in a while, but I just had a really hard time focusing on them and it ended up hurting my eyes so I stopped it. Didn't really them at all either, only the scenes where the space smurfs talked in their native tongue so it was alright.

Anyway, not gonna spoil anything but its a pretty simple story, nothing that extraordinary but good enough, and I guess in these hyper-green times its a popular point to repeat, Gaia, environmental harmony and all that stuff

I will admit that I thought it was about 30 minutes too long, its always the worst feeling to get with movies, but it just felt like there was a bunch of stuff that could easily have been cut down a bit.

Overall a good movie, absolutely amazing on the technical side and a must watch for that alone.

I knew the story was drivel already, but when you analyse it this closely its pretty grotesque just how bad the script is. Then again, that's taking it more serious that you ought to

I think my expectations are so low that I almost can't get disappointed, but saying that alone is having expectations for being at least decent I guess, as decent as space smurfs can be

Anyway, if nothing else then I guess its gonna be impressive from a technical point of view, plus I've never a seen a 3D movie before so that'll be fun

I donno, I love Ridley Scott but that trailer doesn't exactly make me super hyped for this one.

Still, even his bad movies are usually worth watching.
