    I don't think the price is that bad if you're still really into the game. I've fallen off the MW2 train, it's all about BC2 for me now. However if you're still totally into MW2 then it's probably a price worth paying, even if two of them are repackaged COD4 maps The one taking place in an apartment complex, which there was a loading screen picture released/leaked of, looked pretty cool.

    Still slightly irritated with the way things went after I got the COD4 DLC tho, really wanted to try out the maps and every time it was about to change to a DLC map everybody vetoed it. As a result I maybe played the COD4 maps 3 times each, since apparently no one else wanted to try out the stuff they paid extra for. Sigh.

    Cool teaser, although I kinda hate these teasers that are a snippet of a full trailer. Just release the damn full trailer . But I'm filled with a mixture of hype and scepticism about this one, but mainly hype

    Plus with Luka on board, how can it fail~~

    Haha yeah, a Battlefield classic. That's why I'm always teaming up with somebody so that they'll be gunner and look out while I patch it up.

    I initially regretted not being able to play it on PC. Like Valve's games then the BF games for me are mainly PC games at heart. However it really sounds like they made a mess of it by all yer accounts, too bad.

    Apart from some EA server downtime in the weekend, then it works great on the 360. Played it online with some colleagues yesterday and it was probably some of the best fun I've had with a multiplayer game in years. Just a constant supply of "Oh fuck! Oh fuck!" moments, was great. Had some pretty good matches in Rush mode, but even at it's best then it has absolutely nothing on Conquest mode.

    Oh and snipers can eat shit and die

  • Battlefield Bad Company 2

    Just played a few hours of Conquest, it's pretty fucking good. Without a doubt the best BF game since BF2, and possibly even better. Time will tell

    Really irritates me that the Medic doesn't have any proper explosives though, I'd really like to be able to revive folks but I always seem to face every tank on the planet when I choose the Medic class and vice-versa when I play Engineer. But I guess that's kinda the idea

    Got it yesterday, but I got home late and didn't have that much time to play it, but I did join a Rush session that some of my friends were going at. I donno, Rush just isn't as much fun as Conquest in my opinion. I think it's mainly because it really requires a lot more teamwork and coordination than Conquest, and although that's awesome with a good team, then my experience so far with BC2 hasn't been that positive in that regard.

    But it was only one round, and I'll give Rush mode some more chances, but overall I just don't get why they're pushing Rush as the main mode rather than Conquest. [/broken Record]

    Haha, I like how they're essentially glorifying a rivals product, but I guess the bit they want people to take away is that they got the key people from Dead Space over.

    Also like how they mention West and Zampella's departures as a small side note. I bet investors are slightly worried that there's trouble in one of the studios that's making them the big bucks.

    Anyway, hope proper word gets out soon about whats exactly gone down.

    Yikes! That's crazy if true. I don't believe the stuff that's been said so far with Activision refusing to pay royalties though, you'd have to be completely brain dead to not want to please the most successful studio in the business today. But who knows, there's obviously something heavy going down there if this is the case.

    Hope all this turns out not as serious as it's sounding right now :G
