their level design up until now was all in max i'm pretty sure. as their games were console games...
-
on my camera i have two 512's that take A LOT of pictures, like 300 HIGH HIGH res ones... which is plenty if you ask me.
For that camera being 3.2 megapixel you should be totally fine.
-
its the digital rebel from canon.
it loves you.

Thoguht I'd start up some photography thread because I love photography and think you mick's should too.
anyway... It was me and DD, and Nate running around plano wildlife-y stuff with a few cameras... hopefully they'll post their stuff as well. And yes I got carried and way and did some B&W stuff, sue me.

yeah that rules for hl.
i really like that metal railing texture, its not like a normal one thats just grey... its got reds and stuff from cars scraping it... someone did texture homework.
-
unreal
and the new moh is a new engine, not q3
-
oooh i like your lighting on the stone.
however the metal could use some work... lacks depth and interest.
-
I'm not even sure how to describe what I was thinkin when I made this... but it is cool, so have at it gents... and possibly lady.

for the following reason
QuoteEA has listened to the feedback of critics and consumers who have played an early build of Medal of Honor Pacific Assault; their high expectations encouraged us add some extra time to the development schedule in order to add new features and an extra coat of polish to the game.Medal of Honor fans will benefit from some exciting additions. For the first time in the history of the series, players will be able to control their squad in the heat of battle, enjoying greater tactical maneuvering through a new feature called Combat Squad Control.
With Combat Squad Control, gamers under siege can bark orders on the fly, using only a single keystroke to order squad-mates to "Advance!", "Fall Back!", "Give Suppression Fire!" or "Assemble!" We believe that adding this new feature and giving the game more time for polish will pay out. It will help us build on the integrity of one of the greatest franchises in gaming.
Seriously... wtf.

Quote from Zaphod
now can you predict the % of those sales that go back to the developers stuck in digital serfdom, and the % that go to some bumfuck in a suit who's only contribution to the game was reading 8 emails and attending a meeting, so he can buy a new boat. God bless america and capitalism to make this RIAA-esque industry possible.sorry, I'm a little hung over and ill-tempered this morning.
I think id gets way more than a big cut... probably like 40% of all sales.

single player = awesome
multi player = erhm...
-
its WAY different than their previous stuff, we spent a few hours with them to make sure it would be awesome and different.
its not a comic strip.

I guess this counts as an announcement.
From PA today
Quote"We just finished a new long-form project, think the PA Presents stuff, for Gearbox Software's Brothers In Arms. We had an unprecedented level of access to the developer of this game, and by unprecedented access I mean that there is a far greater degree of integration between our work and the game itself. Not only did we have access to hundreds of megabytes of what your teacher would have called "Primary Sources," the guys over there have been doing research of various kinds for as many as three years and were happy to talk to us whenever we had a question. The execution of this one has absolutely nothing in common with our prior work of this type - it's far more intimate. If we have done our jobs correctly - and I believe that we have - there will be nothing, visually or stylistically, to reveal it as our work.(CW)TB out. "

yeah it was a load of shit FIVE YEARS AGO.
Seriously wtf do you expect? Everyone at that time was using dust textures and made shitty maps... so we did something different and people paid attention. The fact the map wasn't any good was not my fault.
