My pc auto detected to everything low so i played that from the first half of the demo. I then put everything on mid and it looked and ran fine. I have to say the gameplay didnt really inspire me too much and i found doing cool things like chucking an explosive drum into the back of the pickup too fiddly to accomplish. The ai seemed fine on medium. Cut scenes arent really my deal but they were well animated and the voice acting was pretty good, except for the 'english' guy.

I'll give it a run through fully on medium and on hard mode, as well as checking out the editor, tomorrow.

I just finished playing it on high settings and it's the most beautiful game ive ever seen. Fighting with the troops was also infinitly more fun on the harder dificulty mode.

Has anyone actually been able to run this at full beside delaz?

I installed it on a friends' PC and ran it at full without much of a problem. Low framerates usually happened at one of the bigger enemy sites, especially when a building was exploding. Otherwise it ran and LOOKED great.

You know, you can get an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.4GHz but overclocks to 3ghz in almost all cases) for just £160 now.

    That's just £20 more than the Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.4GHz).

"Pretty much all the DirectX 10 stuff works in DirectX 9 under XP. Crysis was the only thing that seemed like it might justify Vista and DX10, but its exclusivity turns out to be just another big ball of sellotape and lies. Just renaming the Very High configuration to High means it’s no longer locked off in the Options when playing under DirectX 9, and lo, it works fine and looks amazing and, by most accounts, runs better than it does under DirectX 10. The tweak is easy to do, but it’s even easier to just download the modded config files and dump them in your Crysis/Game/Config folder."

I only played about five minutes (and 25 minutes of logos and cutscenes), but in that time I picked up a turtle and threw it at a boat. I'm sold.

Ok now I have more time to say something about game...

I like: whole environment, a 'plot', models, weapons, graphics, 'power-ups" (invisibility especialy)...

I don't like: requirements, stupid AI, car physics, end of the demo with mechanical ocopus...

I'll buy it if it will be on X360

Was good, could only play on medium at a decent framerate though.

    E6750, 2Gb DDR2 and a 7900GS.
