I think people are getting used to new engines for new releases these days, hl2, unreal 3, crysis, all on the way.
I think Fear1 was pretty good, and if fear2 is the same, it'll still be pretty good for those who really liked fear1.
seeing as they let their fanbase pick the title, i thin kit's really aimed at their fanbase, and not so much to attrackt new people, just to please the fans and let them have some more fun with the original concept of the game.
I'm sure there will be improvements here and there, but i think this game was aimed at people who actually liked fear 1, most negative comments on here come from people who don't have the most positive opinion of fear 1 anyway, and it'll be hard to like a new game if it's so similar to the first one which you didn't like.
I enjoyed playing Fear 1, and the expansion pack thingy, and i hope i'll have as muhc fun with this title, i'm glad they didn't switch to some 'oh my god gfx!' engine, because my next computer upgrade won't be any time soon anyway ![]()
