Either I'm going blind or it looks pretty good to me? It's gotta run on bricks at the end of the day.

Nah man, visually it's fine. It's the gameplay that seems to differ a lot from the first. It could be due to how they cut the videos, but it feels like a wide range of short minigames thrown together.

Wow this is an awful lot of work To build the city.

guess not all cities will take only 15 min to be conquered like seen in the previous demo

Sounds like they are going to keep track of what you did in Shadow of Mordor when you play War later(?)

I have to admit, I'm rather impressed by WB's unrelenting determination in fucking as many people over as possible. Arkham Knight, Mortal Kombat and now this. Even Activision is like 'Not cool bro'.

Even the orc/weird guy in game is rubbing his hands together. He knows how much of a killing he's gonna be making.

If all of this is truly available through normal progression in-game then fine, the people who want to unlock it early and skip portions the game for themselves can do so. But I bet you anything the cool stuff is gonna be a massive grind to unlock to encourage you to think "fuck it I'll just buy it". I do miss the days where you just bought a game and got everything. This practice is horrible especially for a full priced single player game.

Or maybe they're saying: "why haven't we done this already?" :D

I played this for a half hour or so and it really feels like a collection of mini-games. Could be done on deliberately for demo purposes, but it didn't feel that way. It was very 'gamey' and had a strong Ubisoft open world feel to it and not in the good way.
