    Yeah, I just saw the interview with the Mexican coach. Whining about how they got cheated. We were denied several penalties (watch the replays) and even Mexico was denied a penalty. Like I said before, it's just bad this tournament (referee wise). Also, Robben is not a diver. Sure, he does so sometimes (like now) but he can't hold a candle to the likes of Ronaldo, Suarez or most of the Brazilian team (Hulk anyone?).


    Also, all the new sites are talking about the 8 minute miracle. Which is ludicrous. We had a very bad first half and second half didn't start any better. But after that Mexican goal we went all out and thanks to their amazing keeper they hold out. We dominated the second half and even without the penalty I have no doubt we would have won. If you had asked me that the first 50 minutes I would have said hell no and up until that goal (because of their amazing keeper) I had doubts we would equalize. But in the end we did and the 2-1 is fair (even if the penalty isn't).


    Don't forget that we consistently manage to do this. We did so in 2010 against Brazil and Uruguay. Now again against Spain, Australia and Mexico. We're extremely resilient and don't back down. It may not be pretty at times but we have killer instinct.


    Having said that, big shout out (again) for that Mexican goalie. What a guy. First against Brazil and now this. I bet clubs will go after him.

    Also Robben is a fucking diver. He exaggerated that tackle like the bald bastard that he is. Sorry Sprony. Yes he was caught slightly but the way he threw himself into the air like a swan looking to take flight was absurd. I'm not disputing the other tackles made on him, however. And those Brazilians are better at diving than they are at playing Football. They should have a separate Trophy for best diving team, Brazil would walk away with that one easily.

    Benzema and the rest of the midfielders are playing some smooth passes and the ball is gracefully reaching the opposing team's box and here where everything suddenly goes south: offence too slow to maneuver, leaves ball behind, passes to wrong team or simply shoots way outside the goal.


    Someone like Papin, Djorkaeff, Pirès, Henry is definitely needed on the forward line to translate all those attacks/pressing into goals
