I gotta say that i love the BETA, 6v6 is great - the maps are relatively small and the game is insanely fast paced !

the beta plays like GOLD - i saw maybe like 2-3 animation issues but that's it ! I just hope the rest of the Titans will make a big difference. Also I like that you guys are not wasting your time on SP (no offence, but i know what EA would want).
Yeah yeah, this is a purchase for me

I always buy from this site. You can get a key for 43,75 dollars. That's just over 30 euros:

Been playing on Xbone still...only had time to get to lvl 5 so far (lousy kids!) but...

    1) HUD hasn't bothered me. I kinda like it and somehow find it immersive. Dunno just me.

    2) Bravo on the AI grunts. Honestly I feel you could do a lot of story-MP blending with them which I'm hoping is in the works. This is a very vague statement, I know, but they way you guys did it feels just right.

    3) I love the wall jumping, double jumping, double rainbows and triple completes!

    4) Regarding the Hardpoint mode, any chance at some old school push maps? I am biased due to my Day of Defeat level design heritage but I really miss them and I just don't have that much gaming time these days so I'm not playing that or TF2 etc. much anymore. Any chance TF will have some maps like that at some point? Pls? I'll buy it in the DLC! :)

On seeing some screenshots on eurogamer, the xbox hud doesn't look anything like on PC.

Just searched and found another site, guess the eurogamer shots were from an old expo build or something as here they look the same: http://wccftech.com/titanfall-beta…c-max-settings/

Man, I was tempted to buy the collectors edition then I saw the price tag of $250. It stays the same for the uk too, so £250 so we end up paying more

I've been playing the Xbox One beta... wow. The movement is so fluid and easy to control, absolutely love it so far. Still a bit unsure on the AI running around, yeah it's great to feel like you're constantly in the action but from a competitive standpoint, meh, they're just distracting.

That feel when you crush another Titan with Titanfall though... da hype iz reel.

It's fast but not too fast. They carried a bunch of stuff over from CoD (weapon unlocks, perks etc.) but the game feels fresh. I love the battlefield (no relation to that other EA game) atmosphere starting with that moment you drop off the ship to the AI sprawling over the map and the titanfall ETA updates. The levels look great (can't believe that's Source), no complaints about the gamemodes, movement or weapons.

10/10 would drop that titan again and again

    Totally agree.

I think entering the Titans is a bit awkward the way the screens slam shut and a million other consequences of being so ambitious. I fear it's all a bit mindless at the end of the day. But goddamn it's just fun and it works.

Btw Ghost Squad burn card is rofl op good. 14 kill streak on the little urban map wall running everywhere with a shotgun cloaked like a little bitch. 3 titan kills from just jumping on their back from the roof too.

Apparently Game is stocking the collectors edition for the UK, but the PC one doesn't seem to be up on the site yet. Incredibly temped to get it to so that model can go on my coffee table

Just played some last titan standing, and in the last game it was as if my team were pointless (which is a huge problem with matchmaking systems) 17 titan kills 14 pilot kills 11 assists and 3 death or something like that.

I see so many issues with this game as a PC game and I think its doomed to failure on PC because of them. Match making being one of them, punkbuster being another and so far, even though this is a game about teamwork I have heard one person speak on a mic so far, on PC that is completely unheard of for me. 23 games and literally 1 person has spoken, that really says a lot about the community that is going to be around this game.

It's a beta, everyone is just going to be a fuck nugget and run around trying everything. Even I'm guilty of this.

I totally disagree, coming from CS:GO and having played many recent PC CoDs, many people are willing to just plop into a game through matchmaking even on PC (in fact, CS:GO is near dead when looking at the server browser). As for the voice chat, once again having played CS:GO, I'm not so sure I want to hear my teammates. The lack of text chat is a bit annoying though.

You have no time to type and/or think in Titanfall. Which makes me wonder about the potential for competitiveness, seems limited unless you're good with really frantic TDM

The chat is only disabled for the Beta though, it says in the menu. But yeah, not too much time to type.

In Last Titan Standing people tend to/need to play more carefully and put some teamwork/strategic thinking into it. It's the closest mode to S&D in CoD thus far. maybe we'll get to see more "no respawns" modes in the future. I'd appreciate it

Are there plans for supporting competitive play in tournaments and such?

Respawn: That really hasn’t been our focus. Our focus has been to get a really solid foundation out. A game that is really fun, that will attract players, and keep them playing for a really long time. That said, we have a TON of interest from the e-sports community, and I know we’re not going to be shipping with all the features that they’re going to be wanting in the game, but we’re in our first iteration. A lot of the games that have developed good e-sports features and the competitive community are ones that multiple iterations to get that done and to build in those things. So while that couldn’t be a priority for us here, we’re definitely listening to all of the feedback. We’re interested in what competitive players think when the game ships, and it’s definitely something we’ll look into, but not something that’s been our primary focus.

Dead? You mean 700 hundred servers with players on them right now? At the lowest point of steams concurrent users.
