#2 LOTR FOTR (yeah the first one, it was magical)

#3 Terminator 2 (cameron needs to get back to making movies that doesn't evolve around a love story, except you could argue that this one is about a mothers love for her son)

I just saw Freeway which was pretty awesome since the first five minutes have every fucked up white trash thing possible and then the end is hilarious (awful) too!

Los Ojos de Julia. Scariest movie in a long time. We were literally freaking out and couldn't stand through in parts. Actors, camera work, use of light and sound is top top notch!

Season 1 & 2. This show is brilliant!

Source Code, since so much people here have said it was good. And it was Didn't know anything about it and it happened to be the exact kind of film (and genre) I like. I love these kind of surprises!

It's one of the best looking films ever. Every frame a painting. Hence it makes a good companion piece to Barry Lyndon. Also has a cool story, great actors and amazing sense for accurate historical details (uniforms, haircuts, social norms etc.). Scott made three cinematic masterpieces between 1977 and 1982. The Duellists, Alien and Blade Runner. Unfortunately the first one is almost forgotten since it was only after Alien that he became a popular director.
