Battlefield 3

Battlelog is for the most part surprisingly sweet. The only thing I'm not so keen on is the fact that my web browser has to be sat running while playing, otherwise the game closes. It's not uncommon for me to have millions of tabs open for projects I'm in the middle of, etc and unfortunately these tabs each use up a considerable amount of RAM and sometimes even CPU depending on what's in them (Flash is a particular concern).
While I can control this myself to a degree by closing any unnecessary tabs when playing, it's an extra inconvenience I could do without. Also there must be a lot of people out their fucking up their performance by leaving crap open in tabs without realising the impact it can have.
As such I still think it would have been nice to have the option to launch the game traditionally and access all the Battlelog stuff via an in-game web browser that isn't connected to your regular-use browser, thus avoiding all of the above. Just like with Steam it could still be possible to access everything via a regular web browser.

I agree with this, Origin should implement webkit or some other integrated browser so your "main" one you use outside the game can be closed while playing.

yeah of course, ea is secretly taking all your info, this is going to be the start of a new reich. all headed up by the few million people who bought bf3 for pc.
start steam, click add non-steam game, and look what it does. it scans looking for relevant files. origin has been shown to scan files it thinks are relevant, looking for ea games, but it doesn't send anything of any value back to ea.
