Let's talk gaming mice!

be really careful with 2.4 ghz wireless internet/phone when buying a 2.4 ghz wireless mouse. when my wireless is on I can't even use my G7 making it pretty worthless.

I'm pretty sure wireless mice are a lot more reliable nowadays then they used to be. Interference shouldn't be a problem.

I wouldn't take that for granted. the logitech G7 is a modern RF wireless mouse. if you're talking bluetooth, then yeah you're fine.

I like the G5, it's nice for work and suck. But ever since I got my ROCCAT KONE, I have never looked back. My ROCCAT KONE has configurable lights and fits my hand better. It even has a cool tiger like logo. Oh man i love ROCCAT KONE. I even love to say it. RRRRRRRRRRRRROCCAT KOOOOOONE. Check it out

I had that happen once with a wireless keyboard. Was playing Zombie Survival which is a Garrysmod gamemode. I was standing next to the main entrance that the zombies came through (that was barricade) when the batteries kicked it. After trying unsuccessfully to get them working I went to get new ones. When I came back zombies had broken through and were swarming all over the place, attacking humans right and left and miraculously left me alone.

Then I got the batteries in and then died shortly after.

I used to have a Razer Deathadder, best mouse I've ever had. Only issue was build quality, dust accumulated inside it and caused it to double click. After a year of use it became unbearable and unfixable... So I had to part with it.

Then I bought a Roccat Kone+. For the longest time I convinced myself there's something wrong with me but I kept swearing the mouse has acceleration issues. Finally looked it up and the internetz seems to agree. Apparently something to do with the laser sensor being used causing positive acceleration. Not a big issue according to some but god damn, I DO notice it. Definitely when playing CS:GO. At work I have a shitty optical mouse and I swear it's more accurate.

So here I am... Any mice out there that I should look into? I'm thinking of switching brands again and going for a Steelseries, probably optical as well. I loved the Ikari back in the day and now there's new ones out there, but those seem to use the same laser sensor and apparently have the same acceleration issues. So what do you guys recommend?

My Logitech G9 is still chugging away. It really is remarkable how well Logitech builds its mice, this thing has literally thousands of hours of heavy use on the clock and doesn't even have any real signs of wear like my older mice did (coating wearing off, etc)!

i use a trust MI-2500x optical, and been using the same one to play Counter strike source to doom3 for the last 3 years now

I loved my Logitech G500, but the cord on it gave out. Now I'm using a Mionix Naos 5000 and I have to say I'm hooked

Also using the Naos 5000, I really like it. But I would get the optical version, (Naos 3200?). The laser sensor prefers hard mouse mats, but I prefer soft ones.
