Ginger Lord Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 He also played Zelda:TP pretty much nonstop for 2.5 days and completed it. 45hrs of gaming in 60 hours.... Quote
Psy Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 This game is brilliant. All the little features just add up to something quite special. Quote
Furyo Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 So I picked up one of the last two copies tonight at the place I preordered it, and I've played about 4 hours. Brilliant from every perspective, except for some awkward animations still (running down stairs for instance). Got busted once not doing the mission "right" if there is such a thing. Seen as MS is offering us a 1 month free subscription to XBL, I may have to try the multi sooner or later. Quote
insta Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Bought it yesterday and played for around 5-6 hours when I got home. The only thing I don't like about it is the dating/making friends stuff, although the minigames are pretty well made. Quote
Mazy Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Had 12 people online yesterday, all playing GTA IV Loving it so far, absolutely amazing game. Quote
madgernader Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 I picked up my copy yesterday. I'm surprised the special edition bonus items are actully pretty good quality, although the soundtrack isnt really my cup of tea outsite the game. Ive only played it for afew hours, but I love it, except Im not used to the more realistic car controls, and strangley, thus far I'm not as interested in free roaming around, Might just be because I havnt unlocked the other parts of town, and I dont know what (or if theres any) collectable items / side missions for bonuses (secret packages/spray locations/taxi/police/etc) are. Oh well. The storys good and will keep me entertained. Quote

Oh well. The storys good and will keep me entertained. Secret packages are now in the form of pigeons that you need to find and kill... 200 of them. I only found 3 so far, though I only found out about them in the last hour or two of playing. Dunno about spray locations, but there are taxi missions you can do for Roman whenever you like, once you've done enough regular missions for him. Quote
FrieChamp Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 I just bought it....I'm so weak Maths or GTA4, maths or GTA4... Quote

D3ads Posted May 2, 2008 Author Report Posted May 2, 2008 I want to play it but I'm not overly fussed until the PC release happens, and I still have to finish San Andreas first anyway, hopefully by that time the PC version of GTA IV will be out Quote
