Having everything in one launcher is nice, having the source 2007 code is nice. The 3D lighting preview has some major problems, only light from light_spot's renders, the quality is low, but I'd say it's usefullness is comparable to Ued4's lighting stuff. In Hammer, in both you get only a rough idea of how it will look, in Hammer you have to do a compile, in Ued4 you have to do a bake, and both take equally long I find.

Hammer seems more stable as well.

You can do chorepgraphy for ep2 now, which is nice.

bugging bigtime? it doesnt even work for me... when i load up and click even a single object it crashes!!!! and its been like that for a couple of months now for me :mad:

counts for both the new beta and the ep1 version of the editor

What's the problem? I'm using it without problems here.

faces in the 3d view don't show up on some brushes and sometimes it renders several brushes ''through'' each other. pretty weird and it annoys me :S

it's an ati x1950gt, but ive never had this before :???:

oh, and i use omega drivers.

edit: fckn great, now i cant even start the sdk up anymore.

I am personally have some problem setting it up.

I had the previous Hammer program but updated to this,In the process I have lost my Textures and also all my settings.

I have redone most of my settings but I can not find the textures now. Can anyone help?
