Izuno
Anyone else see it? I liked it despite a few people in the theater getting up and leaving due to the camera work. Audeince as a whole seemed to like it where I saw it. Has it's flaws but I must say I definitely enjoyed.
skdr
I'm scared to go out and watch this because of the reports I've read people getting motion sickness.

FrieChamp
I'm scared to go out and watch this because of the reports I've read people getting motion sickness. sissys haha..I'm not sure yet if I will watch it. Is there more sustance to it than a mysterious monster destroying New York? I've seen sketches of the monster by people who have been in the test screenings and wheras I love JJ Abrams' work, to me it seems to be a trick to lure people into the theaters. Might be wrong though, maybe it even has a cool story
Ginger Lord
I'm scared to go out and watch this because of the reports I've read people getting motion sickness. I felt sick watching the trailer before Sweeney Todd and I don't get motion sickness

PogoP
I can't believe some people suffer from this so-called, 'motion sickness' haha. Just go ahead and say it, you're scared

Section_Ei8ht
I initially gave it a B-, but after thinking about it that might be a little low. Sure, I almost fell asleep at times and the characters are so unbelievably one-dimensional that there is nothing progressing you through the story because you sure as hell don't care what happens to these characters, but the style and concept are pulled off quite well. I would have easily given it an A, but the complete lack of character development makes you not care at all about what happens. Also, the CGI effects of the monster are pretty bad, except for the some shots near the end (but all of the non-monster cgi was excellent). Twenty bucks says when I see it again in the comfort of my own home, I'll raise it up to an A-. Or maybe it's a thing where after I watch it a few times and get the feel of the characters, I start to care more. It's still worth seeing in theaters, because there's not going to be anything quite like it for awhile. I'm sure a bunch of people will try, but it's going to be mighty hard to pull off. jaboo224
I liked the fact that they went with a high budget risk film. I think it must of taken a ton of convincing to studios, producers and banks in order to film this film. Especially when you have the creature kicking the US military's ass and defacing new york to a super high extent, even worse than the day after tomorrow. Bold choice to be honest and i liked it because it was original. Not the best movie but definitely broke monster genre.
-HP-
Original?! How come a monster invading New York is orignal?... mmm, I guess I really must go watch this movie! I'll post my feedback as soon as I come out of the cinema, prolly this sunday.
Section_Ei8ht
honestly, the estimated budget of the movie is only 25 million, which compared to modern day apocalyptic/monster/doomsday movies is pretty tame. It was just shot to make it look like it was a 125 million dollar movie.
D3ads
I'm interested in seeing this so I'll probably go and see it along with AVP:R at the weekend sometime.

Mazy
Pretty good, definitely keeps you hooked through the entire movie, but I wasn't exactly totally blown away by it 7-8'ish/
