KIIIA Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Hi, i`m currently modeling myself and trying to learn rigging with that. Some minor texture errors and the problem of a flying head head are known to me. Just haven`t modeled the shirt to connect the head with the body yet.... - - - - - - Quote
D3ads Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Nice one, that defuse is crying out for a normal/specular though, which I suppose that's what you intend to do anyhow Quote
hessi Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 dont you have a digital camera to put on photos? btw your head seems to have wrong proportions. eyers are too high up in the air. if you make reference photos of heads, make sure you take the biggest distance to the person and the maximum zoom. so you can remove as much perspective as possible to get "perfect" modeling references. Seldoon182 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 I second Hessi, Ref pics is the best way to go... Quote
Ginger Lord Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 The shoulder area seems really weird and bumpy, if you've got your arms out horizontal the top of your arms should be level with the top of your shoulder roughly. Oh and lipstick... Quote

Yokai Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Its either the head is too big or the hands are too small. Most hands take up the same size of the face. Keep working on it, make sure your final model will have slightly better textures. Right now, textures seem... well, texture-less... =P Quote
