Ginger Lord Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 What gives it away big time for me is the size of the skirting board in the background, it feels like its about an inch tall, most houses here in the UK have them around 4-6" tall. Either that or its a banjo for a 20ft tall person. Quote

I just measured mine and it's about 4 centimeters, and i am still talking about the skirting board. Quote

The current shoddy student house I am in has ones at least that big, see picture below. Its an old house, 1930's era terrace house so they are larger than normal but even the ones back home are at least 3" tall. Crazy Euro small skirting boards. Quote
Meotwister Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 that sounds like a trend of earlier 20th century architecture ginger. there's some buildings here from the 20s and they had higher skirt boards also.. the ones in my house look about 2.5 inches 3 tops.. but not like 5 or 6 inches. Zacker Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 I would love to learn how to get my renders to look like that... Quote
Alf-Life Posted February 24, 2008 Report Posted February 24, 2008 Wow... astounding! My only nitpick would be the head of the banjo in the 3rd looks a bit too... I dunno... clean? CG-y? But that really is a very very very miniscule crit; great work! Quote
