Yokai Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Out of curiosity, how does this editor handle custom content? (Texture / Models are allowed to be imported correct?) Going to the topic in hand: Your map looks very nice. The rocks really do need some moss though! Quote
-HP- Posted February 6, 2008 Author Report Posted February 6, 2008 Out of curiosity, how does this editor handle custom content? (Texture / Models are allowed to be imported correct?) The editor handles custom meshes and textures perfectly, although we are a bit limited because Crytek didn't released the SDK yet, so it isn't possible to import bones, animations, and a few other things. Atm, my main concern is make a joyful and perfectly playable map, with a good gameplay flow, and no bugs. If I finish the map and still have some free time till the end of the contest, I'll make a couple of custom assets for this map as well, we shall see! Quote

dux Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Wow, looks a lot like Source when the engine tries to do urban stuff. Shit? Quote
Thrik Posted February 7, 2008 Report Posted February 7, 2008 I wouldn't say that the HL2 family of games looks shit, even now. The overall look is still more accomplished than the muddy mess in a lot of newer games. Of course that's just down to good art direction. Quote
